I didn't know there was a preop diet!? Right now I'm eating what I can keep down (lapband slipped and I have a hiatal hernia so I'm eating but only a little at each sitting......) What's the pre op diet? I assume it's different for everyone but can I get the gist of it? Is it liquids or puréed or food?

My surgeon said I would have that pain afterwards because he's touching the spleen and I guess it's bruised on the inside so it will take about a week or 2 to relax it good luck

so.......should I just go bald and wear a wig for a year until it grows back?

I know how you feel. All my good friends are thin....they say "just start running" but they don't get it.... I'm 2 1/2 of them! Ive already had a surgery on my knee and I'm only 24! I can't keep living like this and if they can't understand and support us in our decisions, time to find new friends.....friends like you and me, who understand what we're going through! Good luck in your journey my friend!!! You've always got friends here try and find a support group near you, make new friends.... I plan to after my surgery..... None of my friends understand so much that I'm not even telling them I'm getting sleeved!

That happened to me with the lapband. Don't snack all day. Hats the worse you can do..... Only eat your 3 meals and 2 Snacks..... Sip Water if you get hungry or even a Protein shake..... Chew slowly..... Also, how are you already eating all that after the sleeve surgery? I heard it took a lot longer to be able to eat like that

Not sure what happened with you but I've done that for my lapband AND breast reduction and I haven't paid a penny...... Sorry you went thru this tho

I've used beg hills physicians! I love them! Had my breast reduction, lapband and now waiting for the sleeve..... Lupe & dr feiz are my favorite people.... I'll be having the surgery in Huntington or Beverly hills I think.....will find out this or next week

I think you should do it! I know for me, it's really hard to pack my lunches for work and plan every day ahead of time.... You would have a client in me!
