  1. Being tired and weak is normal after having major surgery, it takes time, but you should be taking your temperature at least 2 times a day, if you have a fever call your surgeon, you do not want to get an infection.
  2. You are both, but it is so worth it that your excitement will take over very quickly. Good luck and prayers your way, keep us posted!.
  3. You will do great!. Many prayers sent to you and keep us posted.
  4. I totally agree, it is not worth a leak and it does take time for the stomach to heal. Take your time, you will feel better about it in the long run

  15. I cheated today to. My surgery is Wednesday. How did your surgeon respond.
  16. I had been doing so well, not even hungry. Saturday, I ate a cheeseburger. Sunday, 2 bites of a slice of pizza, today so scrambled eggs. I dont even know why. My surgery is Wednesday. Tomorrow I do all clear and will make sure I stick to it, but should I tell my surgeon about my slips? I know its more about the liver than the stomach, I just feel so guilty!
  17. Does your company not have short term disability? Than you can keep your vacation days.
  18. I have surgery on the 15th too. I bought Yasso smoothie packs at costco. They have bananna/strawberry with little frozen pieces of greek yogurt. With 1 scoup of vanilla protien, 1 cup nonfat milk or vanilla soy and 1/2 a package of the Yasso in the blender, its really filling and tastes really good. Not a commercial for
