  1. Surgery must be getting close.... best of luck!!!
  2. I checked my One-A-Day gummies, and for two they are 10 calories, 3 carbs and 3 sugars.
  3. I'm not an experienced sleever, just got mine a week ago, but I have always had a problem with Vitamins giving me horrible indegestion. So here's what I do..... I take one or two One-A-Day gummies. I have no heartburn or reflux from them. In fact I'm still on liquids, but can still take them by putting them in my mouth and just letting them dissolve. It tastes just like a real gummy. I think One-A-Day has different versions with extra things added like Iron and calcium also, but I just use the multi-vitamin. Hope you feel better!
  4. This is so weird..... same thing just happened to me! I woke up about a half hour ago with bitter Fluid coming up my throat. It's still burning. This is about the third or fouth time it's happened. I am a revision from the band and remember this problem if my band was tight or I drank too close to bed time. I just got my sleeve on May 4th, so I'm wondering if this will continue to be a problem or is it something that happens at the beginning and then subsides? Thanks for any advice.... I'm a noob sleever and looking for all the help I can get
  5. I'm not getting nausea, but anything I drink causes stomach cramps, even water. It almost feels like a contraction. Hoping it will get better in the next few days. It makes me not want to drink anything.
  6. I went thru this exact thing right before my surgery. I feel your pain hugs to you and the best of luck!
  7. I'm a May sleever. Got mine done on the 4th. Still in the healing stages and on liquids. Good luck on your upcoming surgery!!!
  8. Greetings..... so glad I found your support group. I had a gastric sleeve on 5/4/12, just five days ago. It was a revision from a lap band I had nine years ago. The band worked perfectly at first and I dropped over 100 lbs and acheived a normal BMI, but it started giving me problems about three years ago, due to a doctor overfilling it. I was experiencing horrible reflux and eventually needed a hiatal hernia repair and my esphogus became dialated. Since I had so many problems, I've basically been without a fill for the last three years and...... you guessed it...... I progressively gained most of my weight back. My doctor recommended I look into a gastric sleeve since the band would no longer work for me. I was a self-pay and eventually choose Dr. Hector Perez in Cancun. My hubby got a great vacation in Cancun and I got my revision. LOL Got back yesterday, but I must say it was a horrible trip getting home. I did get a wheelchair at the Cancun airport and the Florida airport so that helped a lot, but the overall day was filled with lots of pain. But, not just from the surgery.... I think from walking hunched over after my surgery, because my stomach hurt, I somehow wrenched my back and now it hurts worse than my stomach LOL leave it to me. Has anyone else done that? I'm thinking I can't go to a chiropractor because I can't lay on my stomach and don't want anyone jarring me around right after surgery, so I'm hobbling around with a cane..... ugh Glad to be here and looking forward to "meeting" lots of you.
