  1. I agree. Although I've only been banded for 5 months now, I still feel that I am the same genuine and down to earth person that I was before getting this band put around my stomach. I may have a child to tend to as well, but trust me......I still have to watch what I shove into my mouth and still need to "monitor" how much I'm putting in as well. I wish all of us on this board nothing but much success in our journies. Good luck to us all in getting that darn ol food monkey off of our backs!!!
  2. I can't say that I have noticed any changes. I still burp, still fart, still poo normal just like I used to. I do try to take Benefiber tablets everyday just to help keep myself regular, but I had to do that before I got banded too. I can honestly say that I have no difference. Hope this helps.
  3. Very beautiful! I'm glad that you had such a good time!
  4. Thank you for bumping this! It helps me to know that I'm not alone in what I've delt with today! Why are some doctors like big ol horses' backsides?
  5. Congratulations! How exciting!!! Crossing my fingers for approval on the thighs for you too!
  6. How horrible of them! I sure hope that when you fight this you'll win! Insurance companies can be such dirty ol buggers!
  7. Now it's my turn to encourage you! I agree with what everyone else has said. Don't get too discouraged, because you are in a different place, with different surroundings, and experiencing so many different things. I would just try to stay positive (I know, easier said than done) about it for right now, and enjoy the time away from home. Once you get back home you can start keeping track of things again. It's so hard to know one way or another, and if your clothes feel good, then that's a great sign. Keep your chin up, and I'm here if you need me. You're doing a great job no matter what!
  8. Awesome news! I'm so glad to hear that your mama is feeling like herself again!
  9. Oh my Lord how sad! That is absolutely devastating! I will surely say a prayer for both girl's families and all who loved them.
  10. Very cool! Mary is a very sweet lady, as are you Jamie! I'm so happy that you 2 are near each other. How cool is that!!!!

  13. What wonderful news! Thank You Jesus!
  14. That is absolutely AMAZING!!!!!!!! That honestly intrigues me. My husband and I both had our eyes popping out of our heads when we looked at it. I've never seen anything that huge, even on TV. Thank goodness no one was hurt, and the problem was resolved. Thanks for sharing....how cool!!!!!
  15. Glad to see you're doing better. I'm so happy for you that everything went the way you wanted it to. That's wonderful!
  16. Penni, I'm so sorry to hear about this. I'd be very disturbed about it too if it were my mother. I just said a prayer for both of you, and hope that they will take good care of her. If you need anything at all please feel free to call me anytime. Take Care, ~Kelly

They look awesome Trish!!!!! I sing, write poetry, take pictures (just of family), and spend time with friends and family.
  18. Congratulations!!!!!!
  19. I've got a Bullet now too! :banana Thanks to a very special lady who got me one as a gift, I've been having fun with it the last 2 days! I used it last night to make my Protein drink, and then used it just a bit ago to make my tuna. I love it! And it cleans up so easily too! It just doesn't get any easier than this! Woooohooooo!!!!!!
  20. Thank you for the extra information Beth. I have posted some info about Lupus in the Lounge area, and what I'm experiencing right now. I need to go get my blood drawn yet to determine what's happening, and will know more then. Thank you to everyone who has participated in providing this information. It's been a definate help to me. Yours, ~Kelly
  21. Hope you had a happy day!
  22. Congratulations! You've done amazingly!
  23. Congrats to you Penni! Keep up the great work girl!
  24. I'm totally opposite of that Paula. I gladly shuck too large clothes out the door and do a jig while I do it. LOL I can't wait to sell off the last remnants of my largest sized clothes on Ebay.
  25. You go girl! You look fantastic and deserve the compliments! I'm glad that you're having the time of your life there. Keep having a great time!
