Prayers requested
Thanks for the update! Nancy, many prayers will be sent up for you and your family. Hugs, ~Kelly

steroids
I have not been on them long term, but have had multiple doses of them due to recurrent Pericarditis. My surgeon has told me that this ok, and that since they are not a continuing thing, that it shouldn't affect my band negatively. I would definately ask your surgeon what their opinion is, and hopefully they will steer you in the right direction.

Vera's Idea
I purchased a miniature pink rose bush tonight in her memory. They had red and pink both, but the pink reminded me more of her. I found a poem to use on the plaque that I'm making, and will integrate a picture of her with it as well. I'll take a picture of both and share it here on LBT just as soon as the weather warms up enough to plant it outside.

Vera's Idea
I am going to the store here in a few minutes to get a miniature rose bush. It's still very cold here, but I will nurture it indoors until the danger of frost is gone. Then it'll be planted outside next to our house. And everytime the roses bloom (roses are my favorite) I will think of dear Blossom. And if it's ok with her husband, I would like to make a little In Memory plaque with her picture on it to put next to the bush. That way her smiling face will always be there, watching the roses grow in her honor.

Condolences - Blossom
I know that I already said something, but I just feel such a loss that I need to say more. Blossom was such a kind and caring woman. She touched the lives of so many of us here in such a positive and fun way. She always made me laugh and feel like I was important to her. She was real and genuine in every sense of the words. She was a wonderful free spirit and gave so freely of herself to all who asked for her help. Her legacy will live on in my heart, and I will not forget the kindnesses that she bestowed upon me many times throughout our relationship. My son just finished wiping the tears from my eyes as I held him just a little bit closer. Dear sweet Blossom, you will forever be missed in my heart, and the joy that you have brought me will live on forever. All My Love, ~Kelly

Condolences - Blossom
Oh my dear Lord no!!! I am sitting here balling my eyes out! I remember the last thing she said to me was that she was waving to me from where she was. She was so full of life and love! I can't believe this. I am just at a total loss. I thought so highly of her. She was such a dear and precious woman. Words cannot say what a loss I feel. Dear Blossom, you will forever be in my heart. May the Lord laugh with you, may your being shine bright in the heavens, and may you live an eternity in the happiness that you so freely shared and gave to others. ~Kelly

Hi Guys. First Time Poster
I think this thread should be removed. If I'm not allowed to advertise my honest to goodness Watkins business on here (as someone who posts on a regular basis), then I don't think that it's right to allow this either. Sorry if I'm offending anyone, but fair is fair, right?

Favorite Perfumes/Colognes
I'm not a huge perfume perfume person, but when I do here's what I wear: Tabu - Very mysterious smelling and earthy Lolita Lempika - Love love LOVE this one! Almost smells like a fairytale smell. That's the only way I can describe it. So lovely! Watkins vanilla Perfume or Dry Oil Body Mist - Very yummy! It's a nice vanilla scent without the hassle of any other scents being in there! Good enough to eat! Watkins Vanilla Shea Butter or Lemon Body Butter - Both very yummy smelling, and again, clean cut smells. You're only smelling one thing, not a gazillion.

Comments for Before and After Pictures
Thank you for cropping my pics down for me Penni! They definately look a million times better now! ***And you'd think that there'd be more of a difference between the 2 pics too after losing 35lbs. Oh well. Maybe after losing 75 I'll be able to tell more. *shrugs*

No Fill for Me!
Congratulations on the great weightloss! Don't feel bad in them refusing to fill you. I have had many problems Healthwise since being banded, and am taking many pills now that are larger. My surgeon won't fill me because of that, and I have never even had a fill yet!!! (Banded on 11-8-04) While I've been at a slight disadvantage for not having a fill yet, I've found that it makes me work harder in making healthier food choices and exercising. (which I get to start back up again tomorrow. Hooray!) Keep up the great work! You're doing wonderfully!!! ~Kelly

Whats For Supper???
I had pizza over at my mom and dad's. I can definately tell the difference between when I eat healthy and when I eat crap. I felt hungry again within 2 hours after eating all of that bread and cheese. Now tonight I was craving cucumbers with my healthy Watkins Bacon & Onion dip (made with reduced fat sour cream). I had some squash/cheese/crouton casserole that Don's mom made instead. It sure was yummy! (I'll eat the cucumbers tomorrow )
