  1. I feel exactly the same way. I thought about backing out because of some of the comments my husband made and the fact that I was worried about how this was going to affect him or our relationship, but then I said that this is for me and about me an my health and happiness. I am tired of being locked up in the house because I am too ashamed to be seen. I go to work and then on the couch. I am only now starting to get excited about living my life. Don't get me wrong I love my husband, but this is for me and it is time that I do something for me. He is now comfortable with the surgery now. He actually has no choice because the choice is mine. Good luck tomorrow Shelley Your Hometown Sleeve Buddy Dina

  3. Yes I had my psych eval. All I need is my date sign consent and pre admit. I think that is all I need
  4. Yeah I am nervous and excited. Got a little peed at the hospital yesterday. I decided till use my local hospital to do all my pre op testing. They took me to radiology first. So I asked them if them barium was gonna mess with me having my labs done and she tells me no because it is not absorbed and that it would go straight through me. So I go through with the test. Then I go to do my labs and they tell me I cant do them because of the barium I consumed. Boy was I mad. I had to go back this morning to do my labs.
  5. I still don't have a date yet , but I did just finish my pre op testing, so I know it will be soon. I have been getting ready by recording a lot of movies on tivo. I had my nails done and my hair trimmed. I figured I'd better do that now. @ shelley...how long after pre op testing before you got your date. I went to the support group and pre op training class. Enjoyed both
  6. Congrats shelley....so your financing did work out. I know you are excited!

  10. I just got my orders for my pre-op testing on Friday. Almost there!!!!!!!
  11. My pre-op consist of 3 protein shakes, sf jello, chicken broth, sf popsicles, and 1 lean cuisine or weight watchers a day. Oh and plenty of water and crystal light.

  13. Please help!!! I am trying to login to my android app and can't. When I'm on my computer I use facebook to login. I don't see that option on the app. Is there any way you can help?
  14. I was approved in 1 week by BCBSTX. Sent paperworkey in on 4/23 and they mail my approval letter on 4/30.
  15. Thanks. Not yet. I emailed my insurance coordinator to let her know about the approval. I still haven't heard from her yet. I'm sure I'll hear from her by the end of the day. She is pretty good at getting back with me.
  16. I just talked to BCBS of Texas. I have been approved. Yay!!!! Just waiting on the letter, which was mailed on Monday. It only took them 1 week to approve. I am sooo excited and very nervous.
  17. I am only purchasing samples at this time and I will continue until after surgery to purchase samples until I know what will work for me. Thanks for the heads up.
  18. I am pre-sleeved waiting on insurance approval. I like the EAS Rich Dark chocolate, unjury Chocolate splendor. I also like to take the unflavored Unjury and mix it with my EAS. This gives you more Protein and task pretty good. My nut suggested mixing the EAS and the unflavored Unjury. Sometime if I'm craving coffee or mocha, I will mix EAS, unflavored Unjury and a packet of Folgers Decaf single packs. I love these in the morning. I have also mixed Folgers Decaf with vanilla Unjury. Pretty good. This morning I wanted to try something new. I tried the Chike banana. It's ok,but pretty sweet. I'm not crazy about the real sweet shakes. I have tried the Unjury chicken. It was ok. I think I will try to mix it with chicken broth to see how that tastes.
  19. I was told I could only take tylenol...no ibuprofen, aspirin etc.
  20. congrats...I am still waiting on insurance approval...very excited and anxious. Good luck
  21. Thanks for your reply.
  22. I don't know what is wrong with me. I feel like an emotional rollercoaster. One minute I am excited. Then I'm scared. I am moody and cranky. My surgeon's insurance coordinator just sent all my paperwork to BCBSTX yesterday. I guess that has a lot to do with it. I am stressing and worrying that I will be denied. I have lost 11 lbs since March 30th and for some stupid reason I messed my diet up today. Has anyone else experienced this and what did you do to snap out of it?
  23. Does anyone else have BCBSTX? If so, how long did it take to get your approval. My surgeon submitted my paperwork today.
