I just had surgery yesterday. I am on clear liquids today. I have tried 3 different crystal lights. None of them taste good. I actually feel nausea. Popsicles are to sweet. I am scared that I will get dehydrated. I don't know what else to drink.

Just had surgery this morning and I sm feeling good.

I had to do 10 days of 2 protein shakes and a lean cuisine in the evening and then tomorrow all clear liquids. Surgery is Tuesday. I think I'll be ok with all clear liquids, its the magnesium citrate I am dreading.

I signed my consent and I am pre-admitted at the hospital. Surgery is Tuesday at 10:30. Super excited! Also lost 21 lbs so far.

I have an e-cig myself. Is it the nicotine or the tar from the cigarettes that cause problems. My surgeon did not demand me to quit, but he did recommend it. I have been having a hard time quitting due to the roller coaster ride with my emotions lately. My surgery is Tuesday the 29th. I thought about getting patches in the morning and throwing my cigarettes away. Will the nicotine patches cause my healing to be slow?

Did your surgeon tell you that you had to quit smoking or did he recommend that you quit?

My surgery is also on the 29th...I have those same feelings.

I think I have something like that. It is long and white our tan with velcro. Looks like a back brace. Will that work?
