I still don't have a date yet , but I did just finish my pre op testing, so I know it will be soon.

I have been getting ready by recording a lot of movies on tivo. I had my nails done and my hair trimmed. I figured I'd better do that now.

@ shelley...how long after pre op testing before you got your date. I went to the support group and pre op training class. Enjoyed both

@dina we r in the same boat i finished all my pre op requirements two weeks ago have an apt on monday to set a date starting to get very nervous

Yeah I am nervous and excited. Got a little peed at the hospital yesterday. I decided till use my local hospital to do all my pre op testing. They took me to radiology first. So I asked them if them barium was gonna mess with me having my labs done and she tells me no because it is not absorbed and that it would go straight through me. So I go through with the test. Then I go to do my labs and they tell me I cant do them because of the barium I consumed. Boy was I mad. I had to go back this morning to do my labs.

Dina! You'll get a date on Mon! Did you do psych eval? Omg whoever didn't do your labs was wrong! I haven't done the support group yet. Maybe we can go together to the next one! I have my Pre op appt with dr on tues, then surgery on thurs. I almost cracked up on first few days of Pre op diet, but it's not so bad anymore. I'm ready to do this!

Yes I had my psych eval. All I need is my date sign consent and pre admit. I think that is all I need

I have lost my reqired weight plus more before surgery...yay!!!

I've cheated twice Pre-op diet... But no more (I hope!). I'm right where he wanted me to be on the day of surgery as far as weight. I am scared and continually think about the "what if's", but that's normal.... I guess :/

9 days until we leave!!!! 10 until surgery. I can't believe these last two weeks have gone by so fast.
