  1. Congrats! I'm two months out and still having a hard time getting in my protein. I try for 50-60 grams, but that's hard.
  2. I hit onederland on my 2 month date. "Released" (you're funny) 25 lbs. I had been on a big stall, then lost 3 lbs overnight. So, yeah!!!!
  3. Diamond, I love what you wrote. I was very fortunate to have a daughter get sleeved 3 yrs ago. She was a great example of success for me. The only thing I'm sorry for is that it took this surgery for me to loose weight. I wish I could have dieted or controlled my over-eating, but it just didn't happen. Thank goodness this surgery is available for us. I hope everyone had a lovely Easter.
  4. Diet soda is horrible for you......VSG or not! You are sabotaging your surgery! You need some tough love here!!!! The choice is yours to make.
  5. I have the flu! I would have gone to church, then my daughters for a BBQ.
  6. Thanks! I'm two months out and have a hard time getting more than 50-60 gms of protein in. I had my labs done last Monday. Everything was good, but protein Dr. really pushed how I've got to increase it.
  7. I'm two months out and I have an egg almost every morning. I usually have to slow down for the last two bites.
  8. Please keep posting so we can support you in words and prayer. I'm also sorry for your loss. You've had more than your share. Lord Jesus bless you and heal you. xoxo
  9. It's nice to know I'm not the only one! I was sleeved 2/06 and I'm 2 lbs away from an even 25 lb. loss on 4/06. I was hoping to be below 200 on my 2 month anniversary...but don't think that'll happen. I think it's my age (66); low BMI to start with; and no exercise. I'm planning to start some form of exercise soon. Can you tell that's a problem for me.
  10. I'm two months out and had my first caffinated coffee today. I did it because I was so constipated and it always helps. Sorry for TMI. ( : Real coffee was wonderful!
  11. I was so noisy w the gurgles, esp. when I laid down....lasted at least a couple of weeks.
  12. Congrats on your surgery. Broth was one of my favorite things. I liked beef broth best. For some reason, it just seems more "substantial".
  13. 1. Do the staples dissolve? 2. Can you get a leak any time after surgery? Or is it just immediate? 3. What other possible health problems can come along around 3 month after surgery?
  14. I was sleeved Feb 6th. I've lost 23 lbs. Can hardly wait to get below 200! 2 lbs to go! This is what ate today: Breakfast: 1 scrambled egg w/ big T. of cottage cheese; Lunch: Protein shake w/ 2 scopes of protein; Dinner: Chipotle Burrito Bowl, NO rice...just Beans, chicken, cheese and tomatoes. I scooped out 1/2 c. and ate that. I'm 66 years old and haven't started exercising yet. I think I need to do that and get my metabolism going. I'm waiting for nicer weather. ( : I actually should have had a Protein Bar today. This really isn't enough protein. That's been my biggest problem.
  15. You should be so proud of this accomplishment! My best to you and your healthy future.
  16. I've got 1.5 lbs. to go and I'll be there, too! I can hardly wait. Congrats to you!
  17. "Broken pieces" says it all. I'm looking forward to reading about your journey. Thank you for opening your heart to us. xoxo
  18. Hey! I want some of those! What a difference! You're a hottie booba lottie!
  19. Thank you for sharing your story. And What a story it is! I'm so sorry for the pain you and your family have gone through. God bless you and watch over you.
  20. Congrats! And you are very brave to do this by yourself. God bless you! Enjoy the pampering.
  21. Thank you sooooo much for your post! Esp. the video. Congrats on your success.
  22. Hey Reddi, we were sleeved the same day! I am sooooo happy I had this surgery. I'm getting comments that I've lost weight. I can really see the 20lb. loss! Excited for the future. Just having a hard time being patient! I've always said the first 2 weeks were the hardest. My energy has been slow, but I think it's because I've had a hard time getting in my Protein. I've started making shakes and that has solved that problem. I already see the change in my pep!
  23. At this minute I'm drinking a shake I made with Click (bought on Amazon). I used 3 ice cubes, 1/2 frozen banana, 3/4 scope of Jay Robb Protein, & 1/4 scoop of Click. Used my new Bullet, which does a great job. You could adjust the Click coffee flavor to your liking.
