Wow if you can do it it's prolly better than having the 10 'last dinners' I had....they say it's better for your liver cause it shrinks it, but man 4 weeks is a super long time...I couldnt do it, but if you can good for you...let us know what you decide and GOOD LUCK!!!!

Wow I had a nasty weekend! I got my thrid fill last Thursday 2 more CC's bringing my total up to 6! I thought I was ok but last night when I still couldnt keep Water down I knew there was a huge problem! So I called the Dr.'s office today and had him take out 1CC which has seemed to help sooooo much!! It's like I can breathe again!! Have any of you had to have this done?? The doc told me liquids for 5 more days!!!!!!!! Jezzz I lost 6lbs since thursday and now i'm supposed to be on liquids for 5 more days....man that stinks! Thanks for letting me share guys!! katie

thats funny!! I got one..I took my measurements just to update and lost 6inches in my bust...he looks at me and says "Honey that was the one thing I was hoping you would keep nice and fluffy!" Then he pouted off!! lol...can't live with em and dont wanna live without them

I went really ugly sweatpants and a hugemongus shirt sans bra (and I do have bigger boobs ) lol...hey I was ready to go home and didnt really care what ANYONE was thinking!!

Brandi, That's so great Congrats on the baby and not gaining a ton of weight back!! That is one big reason I picked the band, so it would be easier when having children...did the take out your whole fill when you were pregnant or did u keep part of it? Did the band affect anything in that way or were you good to go for 9 months?? Hope you dont mind me asking but i've never met anyone who actually had a baby after banding....thanks

See this is so weird...I was told NO way on the Jello...it's considered a 'solid' food so I was prolly in week 4 before I was allowed to eat it...i guess it's the consistancy once it's cold...i dunno...everyone is different, and boy so are the doctors!! KT

I never feel my band unless I get a fill, then i'm distinctly aware of it and everything else!

I have had 2 cc's each time in a 10CC inamed band....

You guys are the absolute best...i can come here with happy and crappy news and your always so supportive....THANK YOU! I don't know what i'd do without you!! Ok so we'll go with the bad news first....I am asking for many many prayers because my family is having a VERY bad week. My 22 year old cousin was just diagnosed with ALS or Lou Gherig's Disease (sp?) The whole family is taking it very hard and the poor thing can't even go outside or walk up and down the stairs do to all of his complications...please say some prayers for my best friend...he hasn't been given a time line, usually 3-5 years but some people live as long as 10 i've heard...If you guys have any information anything is useful at this time...we are all searching the net high and low for any information, treatments, that kind of thing...he has great doctors and we're being very optimistic!! Ok now for my good news..i took my 4 month measurements just to see how I have been doing...I've been a little down cause i've lost 22lbs so far but feel like things arent going so well...anyway i've lost 15 INCHES!!!!!!!! Holy crap that's a bright spot in the darkness of the family crisis for sure! Seems kinda petty to be happy about something like that when we have such a big deal on our hands but hey, be happy where you can right?? OK thanks for letting me get it all out there, I appreciate it more than you know! Katie

I was 350 when I decided to get my band I am 23 and 4 months out I'm around 22lbs down...doesnt seem like much compared to some but i'm thrilled to get rid of anything cause i feel better every pound I lose! My mom had the bypass and wishes she had done the banding, it's so much more permanant, there's not a 'window of opportunity' and then that's it...I chose the band because I want to have children some day and the band will let me do that more safely than the bypass....there are pros and cons to each, you just have to decide which is best for you....good luck and let us know what you decide!! :cool: :) much love, Katie

I'm like you guys...i want to get healthy before I have kids...putting the weight back on makes me nervous about being pregnant but the benefits far outweigh the negatives...besides, can't get bored, what would I do with nothing to loose :D Petunia and Audrey let us know how it goes, lol, your progress I mean, not the actuall making of the baby....lol....u know what i mean jeezzzz

I have the 11cc band and had 2 cc's for each fill i've had so far.....don't know how they do it in Germany but best of luck to you, let us know how it goes!!!
