Me too I had band to sleeve in Dec and I am down 50lbs. The only problem I have if I over eat it really hurts, so as soon as I get the feeling of being full I stop eating. And there are certain foods I eat they hurt my stomach like breads, rice foods that seem to swell when moisture hits them, I avoid them all. Good luck you will be happy with your decesion.

I had my surgery Dec 10 and I am eating about 1/2 cup or about 4oz. When I eat I am trying to eat protein, eggs, cheese, cottage cheese,tuna,chicken,beans.

also try sugar free popcicles. eat as many as you can if you are dehydrated they can help and they feel pretty good going down. ice chips might help also, gatorade i herd can help with your electrolites.

does anyone know of a good tasting protein I have tried different one and they all tast gross and im afraid when i have my surgery at the end of the week i wont be able to drink them and i wont know what to do. I have to start my pre op diet tomorrow and it is all liquids any suggestions that will make this week go better?

Hello I am going to Mexico to and Dr Almanza is doing my surgery on Dec 10, I beleive your dr is in with mine. I fly into San Deigo Friday Dec 9 I am staying and extra day in San Deigo after my surgery also, any suggestion on what to do? I thought about the zoo I heard it is suppose to be the best. chris

CONGRATS I am having my surgery Dec 10. How long was you on your pre op? I start mine 5 days pre op.

Hi on Dec 10 I am having my band removed and having the sleeve. I had my band on for 15 yrs and have hated it every since. I don't know if i'm more excited of getting the band removed or having the sleeve. I am very scared that something will go wrong and they can't do the sleeve, do you fear the same thing. I don't know if my band has slipped or if I have a large hernia from the band. I am just hopeing the band has just slipped. I am having my surgery in Mexico, so I haven't met my surgeon yet. I have heard good things tho and that he has done more of the band to sleeve than any other dr in the usa and canada. Good luck with your surgery.

Hi Fiona I just seen your post and wanted to share with you I am having my band off Dec 10 when I am sleeved, I am so excited to have the band off I have had mine on for 15 years and has been awful every since I have had it on, so does the sleeve feel normal to drink and eat again? I also used Christi at Successfully Slimmer my surgery is going to be with Dr Almanza, Dec 10. My sister had her sleeve by Dr Kelly in Feb and she has been very happy with it, she has lost 115-120 lbs so far.

Where in Mexico did you have your sleeve, I am having mine there Dec 10 in Tijuana, by Dr.Almanza. My sister had hers done there also by Dr Kelly. I am soo excited, but yet nervous. Good look with your tattoo.

Hello My name Chrissy I am 43 till Jan. lol. I have not had my surgery yet, I go Dec 10 for mine. I am patiently waiting. I am 240 lbs 5'2" I quit smoking 4 1/2 yrs ago and put on 70 lbs. I have been waiting to fine someone about my age and size to follow, just to compare to see how I am doing. I read all these successful stories and wonder if I will loose like them or just loose a little. I hate to spend all this money for a little weight loss. Im sorry I dont have any answers for you, I think give it a little more time, I have also heard that your tast change some of the things you loved being heavy, you may not like them any more and the things you didnt like you may like now.Good luck

Hi Im chrissy and I am scheduled for my surgery Dec 10 in Mexico and I am only taking a week off work. I am a medical assistant I an hopeing I will be ready, I think I will be weak lack of neutrients tho. That is ok cause I want my surgery. I am soo excited it couldnt come fast enough. I am paying cash for my surgery and my is costing me 5000.00 so I didnt think that was too bad.

What is the best protein pre op and post op I dont know much about buying protein most of you have bought them if I could get some advice. Thank you
