  1. Gurgles and green pee are normal. Lol! I am at 5 weeks and still have gurgles everytime I eat/drink. It is not so much in my chest as it is right below the middle of my boobies. That is where the new small tummy sits. The green pee is a result of the dye they put down your stomach during surgery to check for leaks. It will go away after you pee a few times Congrats on your new sleeve!

  5. I will be at 5 weeks on Monday, and I too hate to eat... All I can keep down is cheese and yogurt I'm still having a terrible time with protiene shakes... I keep reminding myself that this will get better in time
  6. Spades, I hope it is not and I am praying that you are okay...
  7. Holy Balls Kim!! Great results!! May I ask what your excercise routine looks like?!
  8. Thanks Kim! I will pick some up tomorrow. I need to get the protein in. Just a couple short months ago, who would have thought dowining a 12oz can of anything would be this difficult? Lol!
  9. Its different for all. I was bracing myself for the gas pain, but was lucky and had none. You just never know
  10. Thank you all for responding! Gives me a little something to look forward to! I am sooooo happy for thre restriciton. I guess I am anxious to get completely healed

  13. For those of you who are all healed, losing, but winning how much can you comfortably eat at a time? For a typical Breakfast, lunch and dinner? BS as I read through all of my nutritionists info, it was hard to comprehend when it stated "only one to three bites". LOL! I mean, yes, I understood, but I thought to myself "really? 3?". Now, a few weeks post-op I KNOW what TWO bites are!!!! Hahahaha! Wake up call! (For those who have not yet had surgery, "two bites, means 2 nibbles off of a baby sized spoon!" I know it gets easier and better in time, and I know our tummies are 3-5 ounces once healed and unswollen... but I am curious to know what the "Bariatric Regular" diet looks like in terms of volume? Thanks! sabrina
  14. Kim, I am having the same issues. Sleeved on 2/20... Protein and Vitamins are killing me! Bleh.... it is the texture of the chewables that makes me gag! So, today I found a gummy Vitamin that is actually kinda yummy As for protein, I have made it my mission to not eat anything that is not protein of some sort. I know its not enough right now, but until I find a flavorless one I can't do it right now...

  16. My Dr. recommended Listerine Strips... I feel like I have to brush my teeth 20 times a day. Lol!
  17. I can't wait to be there!!! You can do it
  18. I know that before I had surgery I researched alllll of the good and bad. In addition, my surgeon was sure to explain to me of all the things that could go wrong. Although 'elective', this is MAJOR surgery, and definitley life changing. I am sure most on here did the same as me. I have been reading your posts, and will take you for face value, and believe that you are just having a hard time with the after surgery life. We all are in one way or another. And I feel sorry for you. I am no professional, but I am a verrry positive person. I believe the energy I put out, is what comes back to me. I hope you understand that the participants of this forum are kind, and many ARE having a hard time, but keeping positive and keeping their eye on the goal of being healthy. It is simply mean to keep posting your negativity, without being constructive in some way... I am only 3 weeks out, but if you need a friend to talk to, a support person, or someone to simply vent to, please message me, I would love to listen to your concerns, rather then seeing the negativity on here and getting everyone riled up... Hugs, sabrina
  19. Now I have a ton of noise (gurggling) coming from my stomach... normal? My 8 year oldd thinks its hilarious. I'm glad someone is enjoying this lol!
  20. After posting that I had the same thought as you... walked in to the bathroom and let it out. (Sorry again, tmi)... I must have chewed really good, because it was not nearly as bad as I thought it would be... tummy is happy again. Wheeeew. SLOW DOWN SABRINA (<-- note to self! >_< )
