Metamucil, anyone?
I tried the wafers a long time ago. I don't think I would try that with a band. My band is so tight that I eat very little. One tsp does the trick. You can do that more than once a day if ya need it. Be careful not to take any meds. at the time you take the metamucil. It binds with the meds and washing them out your system. I know this from experience . Before my band was so tight, I ate Raisin Bran every morning with Low Carb slimfast for the milk. That worked well.

Metamucil, anyone?
My band was very very tight and I could still take a tsp a day. Just make sure you use it with quite a bit of water and then drink more plain water after. Wash it down good.

90/58 no wonder you're coughing, your body is trying to live. That is quite low in a doctor's office. Do you have your own machine to keep tabs on it? Mine was around 100/60 every time they came check it in my hospital bed. But that's laying in bed on medication. Every time the lady tried she couldn't get a read so the nurse had to do it manually. Low blood pressure runs in my family. I wonder what it would be if I was an athelete.

Be careful of neosporin, many many people have reactions to it. It gives me a bumpy itchy angry rash if I use it on anything. This only started a few years ago when I had a mole removed. I've taken the Brolemain pills which are just pineapple (from GNC) and also taken arnica montana pills (from Whole Foods). I also drank some pineapple juice daily. My bruises were gone by day 6, and I had lipo. I think the stuff worked very well, actually amazingly well. I bruise very easily and they last and last and last. When I went white water rafting in NC, I had bruises for weeks. I looked like someone beat me with a bat.

Driver's license, small victory
This thread just made me realize what mine states. 180 As of today, it is also no longer a lie. The scale was 179 this morning. I remember vividly the day the young man was typing the info and asked me my weight because it stated 135. I said 180 and it was over 200.

Karri - If you haven't been on: Makemeheal.com You need to go. You can go on the tummy tuck message board which will really help you with what you need to get before surgery. Bromelain, arnica montana, pineapple juice, lemons, ice packs....... Phyl - Hope you feel better soon. Peaches - The girls look great, I am really happy with the results. So is hubby, I gather this from looks and subtle comments cause I sure in the hell ain't never got a compliment like Jackie. Jackie - Damn girl, I'm jealous. My man ain't no complimentor. The best I ever got was, "You're prettier than your friends." Hell that could mean my friends are ugly. Shit, he's reading this. I often wonder if my son is going to be the same. My breast are not hurting terribly. However, in general, I feel like shit, terrible taste in my mouth, slightly nauseous, headache, feel as though my blood pressure drops when I walk around, continual irrital bowels/constipation. I think it's the percocet. I only take one at night. No more, it's Tylenol only. I have tape around my incisions that the nurse said to change every 2 days. OMG I don't wanna. noooooo nooooo Hubby takes off the tape, and I break out in a cold sweat. nooooooooooo :cursing:

Would you get breast implant.....??
You are quite young. When I was your age it NEVER happened, however now that I have been working for almost as long as you have been alive it is amazing but occasionally, if I eat the right things, you're not gonna believe this but money flies out my ass. Usually it in in the monkies' hands, but that does not stop me from grabbing it.

Hi Everybody, Phyl, Janet, Peaches --- Ya'll pictures look fantastic!!!!!!!!!!! Except Phyl, who the hell was the women in your RV eating that spaghetti? Is she your aunt or something? I get to lay around everyday in bed and do nothing, it's so freakin fun I can't get enough, I may pop from the excitment. I still have to take a pain pill at night.( 1/2 a percocet) For some reason they start to throb with pain at night. I need to go bathe but I feel weird like maybe my blood pressure is low or dropping. I'll wait till DH gets home. I have had a weird taste in my mouth since Mon. It is very annoying. I took 1 Tbsp of Loritab before I got the knots clipped at the PS on Mon. The nurse said the taste was the pain med., but I have not taken that since then and I still can't get rid of the taste. I hope it has nothing to do with the band, it is kinda worrying me. Horrible, disgusting taste!!!!:smile2:

Would you get breast implant.....??
Today is my 11th day since surgery. I am very happy with the results, they look great. Go to: Makemeheal.com and click on the message boards for breast reduction. You can read all about them and see lots of pictures. I can't remember exactly what was taken off 480 something off one, and 5 something off the other. I think 460grams is a pound. I'll probably be a D or C when healed. The pain is not bad. I'm still sore and take a pain pill at night.

Period talk.
Hello All, I didn't read this whole thread so I don't know if this came up. Google: Novasure I have met some ladies who swear by it. If you have horrid periods and are done with having a family it eliminates periods. They say it was a painless office procedure completed in minutes.

Would you get breast implant.....??
Michee - It sounds like you are about the same size I was. If you go for a reduction, insurance pays. Aren't they going to have to cut you the same to do a lift?
-
Would you get breast implant.....??
Hi Everyone, Remember me? I had my reduction on Friday. I just got back from my first Dr. visit. They took the tape off. I'm a little sore, but now I have some burn marks from the tape. The boobs look really good. I just took some pain meds. nighty, night.

Karri - Congratulations Janet - Loved all the compliments Phyl - Happy Whale Watching, people used to watch me on the beach and try to push me back in the water yelling, "Save it, save it!" I have to be at the hospital tomorrow morning at 7:00. I hope they take me right away. I am very very nervous. I wasn't nervous at all for the band. If I have to wait it will be very bad. I have to stay at the hospital tomorrow night. I'll get back to you guys as soon as I can. Wish me luck, and say a prayer for me.

Never sick before the band???
O.K. all kidding aside, my eyelashes hurt. It must be the damn band. My eyelashes have NEVER hurt before. I'm calling my surgeon to schedule removal.

Would you get breast implant.....??
XX - Go to makemeheal.com and you can see before and after breast reduction pictures. I want to be a D, no bigger. I want to fit in pretty bras. I do not want to be smaller than a D, because I have always had enormous bazonkas. I do not want to change my complete image. I still what to be, "one of those girls that can't see her feet." I just don't want to be circus clown big anymore. My size now is about the size of a honeydew melon.

Would you get breast implant.....??
Frangipani - when I read your post on the first page I was thinking, Oh God, don't go too big. One of my friends got enormous implants last year. She told no one. She went from a small B to an enormous D. She looks foolish. EVERYONE is talking. How can she think people don't know. OMG, she looks ridiculous !!!!! On your later post, I realized you've researched, you know exactly what you're doing. Jacqui - Just go for a consult. They know exactly what they can do for you. I also agreed big boobs make you look fat. I don't like big giant boobs. I've had them for almost 30 years now. OMG, while breast feeding, I had to make sure I didn't smother my baby. It was a major production. gg2007- This thread is a hoot, thanks for starting it. I need this now, cause I'm very nervous about surgery Friday.
-
Would you get breast implant.....??
Hell yeah I'd buy me some boobies if I didn't have them. Just don't go too big or you'll look ridiculous. Like Pam Anderson ridiculous! Ironically, I'm having a breast reduction Friday.

Oh Ruby one more thing - You don't have to get a trainer, Do like Grace did on Will n Grace. Just find someone with a trainer at the gym, and do everything they do. Just don't get caught.

My date was moved from today because the doctor had to do a cancer reconstruction surgery today. I go this Friday. Ruby - No amount of crunches will help, however duck tape will, just don't get it on your nipples. It'll pull those little buggers right off. Karri - Drive safely I'm leaving work now, tomorrows my last day. Yippee!!!!!!! Except I won't be able to go swimming after Friday. Well, ya can't have everything.

Thanks for all the posts on encouragement, they were very sweet. I am losing slow, but I am still very happy that I am losing. If I had not lost weight, I would not be getting in my pool. Even in my own backyard with a 6 foot fence, I would not have done it. Linda - Google: Ideas for wedding showers, OR, party games for wedding showers, OR, themes for wedding showers, OR use the word bridal in place of wedding. What ever you need, it's on the web for free. It's amazing! My friend liked cows when she got married, so everyone gave her cow crap. She then started to hate cows, and didn't want the crap, but felt obligated to use it. IMHO, if she has something she collects, do not let everyone know. When you collect something, the joy is in the memory of collecting it yourself. I was supposed to have surgery today. It would have been happening any minute. So I just remembered to say a little prayer for the reconstructive surgery person taking my place. As each day goes on, I am getting really nervous. I think I'm having plumbing problems, because of my nerves. Oh, whoa is me. Speaking of plumbing, The PS said that I have to take laxative after surgery because straining will cause capillaries to pop. Any brand suggestions? I'm trying stuff now. It's not working, but I'm thinking, it may be nerves.

anyone had a fill without fluroscopy?
The nurse does my fills. I have never had flouro. I only got a little each time. It didn't matter at first how much I wanted, the fills were set. I tell her what I can eat and she does the fill. The first few fills were like 1cc. then once it started getting tight they went down to .2 or less. Each time she filled, I would then drink water to make sure it went down properly. They are usually very careful with fills because tightness is weird. On my third fill, I could eat mushies on the 2nd day. The 3rd day it shut completely, and I couldn't swallow my spit. I had to have an unfill. By my 6th fill I was past that amount.

Lucky # Sevens- July 07 Bandsters
Hey Everybody, CONGRATULATIONS KARRI !!!!!!! I went to get some unfill this morning before my surgery. She took out .4. I'm afraid I'll swell and won't be able to swallow. I was very tight. This month I averaged 800cals. a day, and exercised a lot. Now sit down for the rest... I lost.... Are you sitting? 3.5 pounds  Is this ridiculous slow or what? Hopefully, I'll lose at least 6lbs with surgery. Notice I took my ticker down, it depresses me.
