Wow!!! This thread is a GOLDMINE!!! I cannot believe how much alike we all are!!! The part about "ruining your food" is hilarious!!! I do the same darned thing!!! Yikes!

Don't know why I didn't see this before!!! I've been looking to start a group like this with our support group!!! Wanted to get some ideas for Menu Plans....that was why I started that thread about it. Anyway, I think I will just subscribe here and participate. COOL!! Will let them know about it but they're not as much of a Computer Geek as I am I need to be accountable too.....my Dietitian keeps after me to journal and I don't know why I can't make the time...especially since I am eating correctly now! I still go to WW meetings but keep a low profile. I do it so I can weigh in, mostly for myself. I do have a scale at home; but that one keeps me on track! Also, themotivation and the recipes and support. Our support group is only once a month so the weekly meetings help in between. Anyway...thanks for listening....I think I've had too much coffee! I have just recently started telling people I had the lap band surgery. I was in the "fat" frame of mind where, every time I lost a significant amount of weight, people would compliment me and say how good i looked. This was always sabotage! I would figure, "hey if i look this good now, why do i need to lose moer?" Happens every time! And back the pounds would go. So, even though we will most likely keep the weight off this time, I still did not want to hear all that yet. Now that I have lost about 67 pounds,, if people ask, I tell them, and more than happy to share the secret gift I've been given of a new life!

Hey....I've never been to Vegas!! PLEASE let me know when you confirm a date!!! I would love to go!!! Will start saving my money from all the money I save on less food lately!!! YAY!!!

you may be on to something with the thyroid thing though....but my TSH has been extremely low.....decreasing my dose lately.....I thought only if you have a n underactive thyroid it woudl fall out...since I am getting too much Thyroid hormone, i would think it would be the opposite....i dunno...may just wear my hats!!!

Yikes!!! I thought my hair loss was slowing down...but it's just as bad. I get it trimmed every 6-8 wks to freshen it up and keep it from being frizzy. I've read on the boards that extra Protein is the only way to help this problem. Any other suggestions? Vitamins? Doctors? HELP!!! I have been researching on the net....not much luck.... Nancy

That is EXACTLY what happened to me!!! See my past posting.....I had a fill on November 8.....1cc...then after Christmas was getting really hungry again.....he extracted the first to measure it and only 1/3 remained....he said it happens occasionally...there was air in the tube....so he gave it back to me....and i think i have 1cc now.....lots of restriction which is probably what i should have had the first time!!! Michelle sent the same quote to me and she is right!! maybe they will change their protocol......

My friend went to the doctor because she was suffering with a really bad attitude. He diagnosed it as Rectal Myopia - "Shi**y outlook on life"

My first fill was 1cc in a 4cc band. But then when I went back and he tried to give me another 1/2cc, we found that there was only about 1/3cc left of the first fill. It had dissipated or air was in there. So now I think I have 1cc again. Why do you ask?

My friend wants to come to Vegas too and she is a gambler...so while she gambles I can party....just keep me posted on the dates for both!!! Have never been to Vegas before in my life and now that I can walk for more than a few miles without getting out of breath and collapsing....I would enjoy it much more!!!
