This is the first of multiple times I have read to eat the meat first, then veggies, then carbs!....Maybe this is what I am doing wrong!!! But I asked my dietitian and she said it didn't matter....Can you tell me why your docs suggest to eat meat first???? Nancy

Went to the car wash before Christmas and I usually wipe off my windows and mirrors when I get out....but this time I had no napkins in my car!!! Not even one!!! I realized it's cuz I have not gone through a DRIVE-THRU since before the surgery!!! (NSV) I've decided to keep a roll of paper towel in the trunk! :-) No more drive-thrus for me!!! Nancy*

Hey!!! June 25th sounds great!!! already marked my 2005 calendar!!! It's a DATE!!! The FIRST ANNUAL BANDSTOCK - !!! the possibilities are endless!!! Can either make it an annual "Michigan" event or have it in a different state each year!.... We can have music for this Bandstock??? LOL (or make our own ) Maybe some local bands can join in....get some of the local radio stations involved....start the first annual lapband convention!!! TV and RADIO people LOVE that kinda stuff!!! Lila Lazarus....here we come!!! Anyway...the wheels are turning!!! I'm not as experienced in these bashes like the Vegas and Chicago Bash people, and like Greg and Lyle and WhippleDaddy....but I've helped plan NUMEROUS successful events, huge and small!!! So anything I can do...please let me know!!! Nancy*

Here's another: SPINACH TORTELLINI salad 1 – 9oz. Bag cheese tortellini cooked according to directions & drained In 9”x13” glass pan, Layer: 2 cups shredded red cabbage 6 cups spinach leaves 1 cup cherry tomatoes – halved ½ cups sliced green onions 8 slices crumbled bacon (or bacon bits) Place tortellini in single layer on top. Just before serving, pour your favorite 8oz. Ranch Dressing over salad.
