PBing to Port Revisions

Recommended Posts

A year ago a Port revision and Pbing would have meant something completely different. Probably, something about Peanut Butter and a new terminal for a cruise ship.

I am about to venture into bandland, hopefully in Febuary. Needless to say I am full of nervous anticipation with a kick A** mentality

(Im scared, LOL).

All of Dr. Lopez patients who have had a problem, I just want to say that my heart goes out to you. Delarla your port problems have opened my eyes to what I am getting into. Problems like that can occur to anyone at any time, however, it is always the responsbilty of the DR. to follow up and take care over the patient who trusted him with HIS OR HER life.

My HEART GOES OUT TO YOU.

I just wanted to let everyone know how much your posts mean to me. I used to be a lurker, (its not a bad thing) but all of your posts and information has made me feel stronger. I feel like I have got hundreds of people behind me.

Thank you all for your support and guidence.

Rachel, you must be using an old photo, because you're gorgeous and don't look like you weigh over 100. Good luck, you won't be far behind me.

Pat,

Actually I took that photo last week, LOL I am a professional artist. I held my digital up in the air so it was taking the pic downward. Below is a pic of me with no bells and whistles. Of course I am standing next to a very thin person, I am sure I look like UMPA LUMPA hahaha.

One thing I realized while looking for a full bodied pic, is that I usually stand behind everyone. Just one of the many things that I look forward to changing.

I also confess to not pulling my car up paralell to another car for fear that someone might be looking at me. Never looking people in the eye, needing xanex before I visit my family in NY etc. LOL I could probably go on and on. (VENT)

I will have to round up all my good before pics with my whole body exposed. GL

Rachel, I swear I wrote your last post! I've done all of those things for years. I can't even find any preband pics of me. I became such an expert at dodging the camera for years. I still don't like it. LOL

Leatha G,

Talk about smart, your quite the activist on this site, I love reading your posts. Looking forward to picking your brain.

New Hope, my family always tells me to right down all that runs through my head, so when If I write a book I have everything ready. Better leave 2 or 3 chapters for pychological oddities like that.

Rachel, what an intersting profession. I can't draw a straight line with a rule. And you're still beautiful. I look forward to being your band buddy.

I envy your gorgeous hair! At Christmas I tried standing behind hubby for our picture. But he swung me up front and said, "you don't have to hide behind me anymore." So there we stood, side-by-side for the first time. I still have my Xanax, but I can't remember the last time I took one.

Welcome, Rachel. I'll be sitting in the bleachers with my pom-poms when you go for surgery!

Still purging all of the larger clothing. This morning, a shirt that I ADORED wearing ended up on top. Hard to let it go, but it was also hard to let go of those habits that also no longer serve my highest good. Onward and upward!

Well, tomorrow I go in for an impromptu hiatal hernia repair after ending up in the ER over the weekend because I couldn't get food down and water was moving at a trickle... I've been having these symptoms on and off for a few weeks but Sunday was the worst by far and came with chest pain and trouble breathing. The ER PA thinks it is just esophagitis and that the surgeon and radiologist are wrong. But the bariatric surgeon swears it is a hernia, possibly a sliding one based on my symptoms. So he fit me into his schedule this week to repair it! I hope he's right and this sorts it out. He's going to do a scope afterwards to be sure there is nothing wrong with the esophagus. Here's hoping it all goes well!!
