  5. First hugs to you. I know it may hurt to lose someone close to you, but truth be told she doesn't seem like she was a best friend anyway. My friends have been very supportive. They didn;t agree with my decision at first, esp Mexico, but they understand that I had my reasons. Now they are stoked to think about us shopping together and how happy I am. Time heals all wounds. This too will past. Hope you feel better.
  6. Keep up the great work. But don't get discouraged if the scale up or you stall. Not trying to take you off your high, but just want you to know that it will keep coming off. Congrats

Have fun!
  8. Don't jump the gun and give in to temptation. Remember your little new tummy has to heal and you will need time. Chicken broth may fix your craving. Take sips and know it gets better.
  9. Congrats. Remember you will feel crappy but it will past. If you prepare for the worst, the bad won't bother you as much. See you on the losers bench

  16. You lose the most in the beginning, I wasn't able to eat that soon, but everyone is different.
  17. The first few weeks were rough for me also. I had to sip and sip and sip (no gulps). It does get better. Sending you hugs. PS: Try sucking on frozen ice cubes. I froze Crystal Lite and Fruit drinks in the beginning to help.
  18. You should be okay. Some people have no diet at all. Mine was 5 days. Just be diligent for the rest of your diet, increase your water, decrease your carbs, and get in some protein (not meat since you were told no meat)
