Need Advice To Get Thru Repeated Stalls.
Chill. that's my advice. My weight bounces up 3-5 lbs ever month before my period and then starts dropping the week after. It's been doing the same thing since month 3. Don't stress, don't change just keep on keeping on.

For Those Who Got Gastric Sleeve Surgery And Have Toddlers Or Small Children
As soon as I got home I felt fine to keep up with kids just like before. I had a then 3 year old and 5 year old. I just had them use stepstools or climb up on the couch when they wanted to be picked up. I didn't worry about it at all and everything was fine.

Tummy Tuck...have You Had One?
I have so much excess skin I'm starting to consider plastics. I'm 9lbs away from goal and I'm in size 8 jeans but I know without my tummy I'd be in a 6 or 4. That is how much extra skin I have. It's really getting on my nerves and I HATE wearing a shaper every single day. What scares me is all the complications I read about on Obesity Help's plastics forum. Has anyone on here had a TT? How long did it take to get back to normal? Would you do it again? How much was it? When could you go back to work? What would you change if you could do it over again? Are you happy that you had it done?

Warning<< Gastric Sleeve Surgery Failure Dr Rod
Sounds like typical results with plication. Even those who have had it done successfully seem to only lose about 50% of their excess weight loss after a year. I am so sorry you threw your money away and basically have no recourse.

How To Choose The Right Agency To Source Gastric Sleeve Surgery In Mexico?
Dr Aceves is amazing and he does such fine work that you don't really have to worry about aftercare in the US. His rate of leaks or complications are lower than anyone elses I could find. Nina would be able to answer all these questions for you. They are all amazing! http://www.gastricsleevesurgeon.com/

Has Anyone Used Dr. Almanza In Tijuana For Gastric Sleeve Surgery?
Please do your research and don't rely on one topic post to do the work for you. I did several months of research before deciding on my surgeon and through that time and my last year on here I have read a lot of negative expereinces with Dr Almanza. When his name pops up my first inclination is to warn people but then again I'm hesitant because I don't want to make people who used him feel bad or that they need to justify their decision. So again, do your research!

Anybody have Dr. Aceves and/or went alone?
There is no need to see your PCP for anything other than regular check ups. You can have your yearly bloodwork done by the PCP like anyone else would. Really this surgery isnt' like others and there isn't any follow up needed.

Skinny girl issues...WTH!!!!!
As far as friends wanting you to lose weight all my friends were for it too but they don't realize that you might be smaller than them. Everyone was so supportive when I started losing weight but once I got smaller I got the whole "Woah! You are getting too skinny!" which really means, "OMG YOU ARE SMALLER THAN ME! STOP IT!" Oh well! I rarely talk to my bestfriend she was always a size 6 and I was an 18. Then she gained weight when she had her 2nd kid but was still smaller than me. Now that she's a 20 and I'm an 8 I rarely hear from her. I know it must be hard and a shift in dynamics since she hinges how she feels about herself on how often guys pay her attention. I still love her and love her heart but I know it's not easy.

I Have Gained...@#$%&**!
Every month I gain between 3-5 lbs and it started in December which was about 3 months after my sleeve. It's the way my body has done the entire journey almost but it always comes right back off. It's water weight and not fat and I'm okay with that.

Stupid Music In Gyms - Can't Stand Pop/dance!
They played easy listening where I used to work out and I hated it. I love "stupid" music! Nothing can get my ass moving like some Britney Spears!

My Plastics Journey - My first one (of several)
If you look like that Diva, I seriously can't talk to you anymore. I'm sure the jealousy I would feel would seeth through the computer screen and infect you Just playin'. You already look fabulous and not boxy at all. I feel like I have the sponge bob square butt/back thing going on and I think some lip is needed on my waist in the back. Can't wait to hear more about your experience. As always you are a step ahead and I love watching your progression! Hugs and healing!

Vsg Regrets? Why?
Regret that I didn't do this in my early 20s or hell even my teens.

Lap Band Or Gastric Sleeve Surgery...losing My Mind
You can take the band out but the damage it does is NOT reversible. Go to Obesity Help and read all the weight loss failures on lap band. Many of those people have had them slip, erode their stomachs among other problems. Not to mention many don't even lose the weight on the band. Several spend their days only eating sliderfoods like icecream because they can't tolerate anything solid. Lap band is the worst weight loss surgery imo. I started out on the lap band train too and quickly got off the more I read about it. Don't you think once you have the band taken out you will gain the weight back? If so then it's not really reversible and not a long term solution. VSG has far less complications, you can eat the same foods as everyone else just smaller portions, it's safer and you don't have to get it filled/unfilled which can cost a ton of money.

Male NSV here (possible TMI)
Okay probably a TMI question but had it gotten skinnier? Sorry if that's TMI and feel free not to answer, the question just popped into my head.

My Plastics Journey - My first one (of several)
Bahaha! I have a couple pairs of really tight jeans that make it where my thighs (mostly just extra skin) doesn't rub against and it's such an awesome feeling! To feel the breeze between your thighs you'd think they were angel kisses I love your "Fat me is rollin in her grave right now"!

Anybody have Dr. Aceves and/or went alone?
Oh girl, just search for Dr Aceves and you will find nothing but glowing reviews for him here. I did NOT go alone, my Mother went with but a girl in our group did and she had a great time. Once you are there with all the other surgery girls you form a little group and check on each other. I wouldn't hesitate to go alone, in fact it might be easier in that you don't have to worry about anyone but yourself. You don't need to lift bags because they have a driver for that (bring tip money) and everything is taken care of. The nurses speak great English and the staff attends to every need you have and even those you didn't know you had. You are in THE BEST HANDS!
