  1. I've never had flouro, he just feels it and goes for it. Only takes one time too!
  2. Good afternoon Y'all! I don't know who had me laughing more, Eileen or Pat! Just been busy, I try to get on and catch up with all the posts and the next thing I know I am so tired I can't read anymore! I hate this time change, all I want to do is go to bed at 7:00! Eileen - I hope the back is doing better! Pat - I still caugh and pee and fart and pee and caugh! Gosh I hate it when I do that! We have had a ton of people at work that is sick with the cold flu stuff, and I have been fighting it for two months now. I sure hope I don't get it. My boss was nice, since they have to come up and relieve me for breaks, she bought me a container of lysol wipes to clean up after they are there! Take some caugh medicine girl and keep those caugh drops in your mouth all the time. Heck, your house keeper probably got the best laugh she had all week! Nope, I didn't take the day off, just try to come on before I leave and when I get home to check out the Jersey thread! Mary - it must have been exciting for the boys anyway! Glad you got to see them! Cindy - Don't you just hate it when you lose your posts? It makes me want to scream WTF! Dang, why is it everytime I get on this computer DH has to have me come in there for something? Now he is calling me to come outside for something. Men, you can't live with them and hate to live without them! Hello everyone I missed, I'll check back later!
  3. Good Morning Y'all! I finally found this! I didn't get to read the other one, so I don't know what I missed! Beanie - Whooooooo Hooooooo! Way to go girl!:clap2: :clap2: Mandy - She is adorable! What a cutie! Diane - Have a fun trip! Good morning everyone else! I'll check later if this board is still up and running. It was down for me again this morning. So, I didn't get to post much!
  4. I deducted mine the same year. I paid with a credit card too! You paid for it this year, deduct it this year! The IRS doesn't know you paid for it with a credit card.
  5. The chips are a problem for me too! They go down pretty easy, but then I feel bad later like they just want to sit there and cause me misery or come back up. I still manage to stick some in my mouth at times even knowing how it will make me feel. I agree, get just tiny amounts of fill at a time. Maybe that will work for you. I have found that the longer I am banded the harder it is to eat right. That bad friend called head hunger gets me, even when I am not hungry I am looking for something, anything, especially crunchy or sweet! Good Luck!
  6. Iluvharleys replied to a post in a topic in The Lounge
Maybe he can repost the thread again? I didn't get to read it at all! I's sure be interested in what he had to say!
  7. I'm glad the surgery went so well and you aren't so sore! I've heard from several posters that it wasn't near as bad as the first time!
  8. Welcome to LBT! Congrats on your banding! Glad you found us too!:biggrin1:
  9. Your feelings are only normal, you'll have lots of different feelings before you get the band. Take some time and read all the posts on here and you'll gain lots of information that will be useful to you. Good luck, and welcome to LBT!
  10. Welcome to LBT! There's lots of information here just for taking the time to read it all! Good luck and keep on posting!
  11. Welcome to LBT, and good luck!
  12. Don't be afraid to try things, just make sure to eat slowly and chew, chew, chew. Some people can eat everything, others can't, so it is going to be a trial run for you. I ate salad at my first real meal, and it tasted like heaven. :biggrin1:
  13. I use the real stuff, but try to use as little as possible, at least most of the time!
  14. Lapband has improved my life in everything I do, including relationships.:biggrin1:
  15. We'll have to keep an eye out and see what happens! Hmmmmmm
  16. I was at work most of the time, so that helped, but hated not being able to get on before I left for work!
  17. Mine has me do liquids the remainder of the day of the fill, then back to solids the next day!
  18. Mine's on my left side too!
  19. Good Morning Y'all! "Happy Halloween" As usual, running late this morning again. I get side tracked, then look at the clock and wonder where the heck the time went! I got up at 4:15 too! Tonight is the halloween party on the street, of course we are going to get a cold front moving in! I guess that will just make it feel more like halloween though! I will just be getting home as they are closing down the street! They are grilling and eating dinner outside tonight. I have my candy all ready! Now, y'all be carefull out there tonight, Because the Goblins will get you if you don't watch out" Later my friends!
  20. We have tons of people that come on and read up, then go have the surgery never to be heard from again unless they start having problems. There are also a lot of threads on here from people that did come back and post their experiences. It's only natural for you to be nervous and excited. Just remember to come back and let us know how you did! :)
  21. Welcome back! "Good things come to those who wait"
  22. She's beautiful! I'm glad you got her, she's a lucky gal!
  23. Hello Y'all! I'm tired and ready to kick back and rest. Didn't do much other than work around the house cleaning, cooking, laundry, you know that same stuff we all do every weekend. I tried catching up on some of the other threads, but when you are tired, you just don't do a good job of anything. At least I don't! We set our clocks back an hour last night, we were supposed to get an extra hour of sleep but all I did was wake up and hour earlier! WTF! Anyway, just dropped in to say hello and let you know I am still kicking. I'll try to catch up tomorrow! G-Night and good dreams!
  24. Welcome to LBT! Glad to have you here!
