  1. I know a lot of us don't like the ads on here, but wanting to charge people would make it hard for some of our members to stay on. Not everyone can afford to pay to come and post here. I can put up with all the ads if it means that everyone will be able to still use this site.
  2. All's well with the house, a limb just hit the corner but didn't do any damage. :faint:
  3. Good Morning Y'all! I just visited the rest of the site a while ago, first chance I really had to really look around. Mandy - Sorry you are feeling bad, Hope you feel better today. My thoughts are with your friend and I will keep him in my prayers. Beanie - Wow, that is really cool you found something so fast and right near home too! Eileen - Glad your gal came out of surgery good. That must be a very trying time to go and wait that out. Hugs for being such a special person. Good luck with your new job, knock them dead! You can do it! Darcy - I don't know why I thought you were missing, I guess I just missed your post or read it and the old brain didn't register it! You know they say the mind is the first thing to go! Sherry - Awwwww, sweetie, things have to get better! I'll send good vibes to you! Hugs! Dang, I have to go check things out, I took a bread and DH is cutting tree limbs down and I think one just hit the house. Yikes! Later!
  4. Awwww, I am so sorry you are going through this. My thoughts and prayers are with you.
  5. Welcome to LBT and congrats on your surgery date. It is only normal to feel all the emotions you are going through. Just keep busy and read everything you can on it and you'll be fine. Good Luck and let us know how you did after your surgery!
  6. Welcome to LBT! Glad to have you aboard!
  7. Welcome to LBT and congrats on your surgery date!:clap2: :clap2: :clap2:
  8. Congrats to you! That's a great NSV!
  9. Nuts does the trick for me! If I'm at home I do a fruit smoothie too!
  10. Mine makes all kinds of noises, sometimes it downright embarrasses me! I'm glad I eat lunch at a different time than everyone else or they would definitely wonder what I had under my top!:biggrin1:
  11. You really need to follow your doctors advise. A friend of mine had surgery and when they got in there they almost couldn't do the surgery. They told her she had the largest liver they ever saw. Anything that helps you get through a safe surgery is worth the suffering to go through it. Good luck!
  12. I usually take a salad to work, making sure I have some Protein in it. I put all kinds of veggies in it and top it with vinegar/olive oil. Since I don't get many veggies in other times of the day, it works well for me. Other times I do the Jimmy John's and eat mainly the insides, or Wendy's chili. Sometimes I order a side salad, pour the chili over it and it's yummy too! Lunchmeat with some cheese rolled in it works great too! I cook some beef or chicken stips (or both) up with some onions, bell peppers, and tomatoes with some fresh garlic and eat it just like that or put it on top of a salad and it's really filling and good too!
  13. Good luck! It sounds like you will be right back on track soon!
  14. Welcome to LBT! Congrats on the date too! Start reading as much as you can, you'll gain tons of information that will help you before and after your banding. Good luck and don't forget to let us know how you did!
  15. Wow Sherry, you DS is lucky more didn't happen to him with the door that bad! Hugs!
  16. Welcome to LBT and congrats on the w/l. Sounds like you are doing great!
  17. I've never heard of that before! Maybe he could tell you where you can find an articel he read or something?
  18. I take Flintstone's complete, they work pretty good for me.
  19. Welcome to bandland! Hope you had an easy time of it!
  20. Walk, Walk, Walk, and then walk some more. Walking helps get rid of it faster than anything else. I always have a certain amount of gas since I was banded regardless of what I do.
  21. Good Morning Y'all! I am so far behind on everyone I don't think I will ever catch up! I just had so much to do and so little time to do it all in. I finally got the taxes mailed off and was so disappointed to see we owed so much! Really put a bummer on the week! I thought I was doing them all wrong because of the amount, but after taking them in and they came back even higher than I did them, and then I still had to pay $100 on top of it all didn't make me too happy! But it's done and now I can forget them for a while. Beanie - So sorry about the job. It's so hard to go through starting over. I still believe everything happens for a reason, so maybe in the long run it will be best. You are a go getter and I know you will do just fine! I will have to see what day y'all are going. I can't go through the week, so if that is when you are going I will have to pass. I have had a few days of taking off early already for appointments, and I have 2 more in May, so I don't dare ask for more. If I don't get to go this time, I might get to go next time. Maybe Kat will come into our area and then it won't matter what day it is next time. Good Luck with the interview, knock them dead girl!   Mandy - I hope your tests come back good. I wouldn't worry about it too much, they don't seem to notice that things they say always make us think the worst. You have a great group of gals on here praying for you so you know things have to be good! Cindy - I can't watch much of that stuff on tv either, I just can't get it out of my mind afterwards. I have to walk away from it. Kat - I hope that guy brings back your camera soon, we want to see the baby! Chrispy - Hey girl, glad you found out about the boy before it got serious. Good luck with your new friend. Diane - Like everyone else said, take some time and get some rest. You deserve it girl! Sherry - Glad your son is alright! Gosh, it is so scary for kids to grow up! It's hard enough to let them go a little, but then when something happens it really is hard. He's got a good Mom though to help him through all this! :D Patty - How's the date coming along? I am so excited for you! Darcy - Miss you! Pat - Miss you too! Yikes, it is almost 7 and I am still in my gown, got to leave in 10 minutes! Later!
  22. And last one I promise!
  23. These are some of the roses in my yard, but some of them are beginning to die off already.
