  2. I hate to judge how we look by a number, I think they way we look and feel is much better. I say when you get to that point, you will know it!
  3. Great job! Congrats to you!
  4. I use Stevia sometimes and it really is good.
  5. Pictures really do tell the story! Amazing, you look great. Time to change your screen name too!
  6. I JUST KNEW IT, I HAD THAT GUT FEELING! I am doing the happy dance for you!:clap2: I am so happy Beanie! This is the first chance I got to get here today, doing some typing jobs for the neighbor.(he and his wife are such sweethearts) Gosh, now I can uncross all my stuff huh? :cheer2: I can't tell you how happy I am for you! So, how long till you know the date? I'll check back tomorrow, still have some more stuff to get done!
  7. This is the first time I heard of this one. I'll have to check it out. Thanks Vera!
  8. I read an article the other day that said the DS was the most risky one!
  9. Welcome to LBT! Glad you have you aboard!
  10. Happy Birthday! Hope you had a great one!
  11. Awwww Trish, sorry you are still having pain. Hopefully when you drop a few more pounds the pain will vanish! As far as diets go, I don't diet with my band. I eat normal foods, just smaller amounts because the band allows me to do that. I spent most of my life on diets and they just don't work for me. Yeah, I can lose on a diet, but as soon as I eat normal food again, the weight comes back. So, I don't do it, if I eat normally all my life I don't have to change the way I eat. I eat exactly what I want, and if I want a sweet, I just have a few bites or something. I might not break records of weight loss, but I'm not trying to. I am not deprived of anything and I am still losing weight. Our bodies don't say that cookie is going to make you fat, we say that. It really boils down to the old calories in/calories out. If you eat one cookie instead of a full meal your body doesn't know that as far as calories. Just use your head, watch your portions, get your exercise in and you will be fine. That is just my opinion!
  12. Don't be nervous! Fills are pretty easy, they are over with before you know it. They don't hurt, and the doctor will decide how much fill if any that you need. Each person reacts differently to fills so I can't tell you if you will get gassy again, but you won't get the gas pains that you had after surgery. My doctor only has me do liquids the remainder of the day of the fill and then back to solids, but each doctor has their own rules, and you should follow what your doctor tells you. Good luck, and let us know how you did!:biggrin1:
  13. Usually the doctor will ask you the questions! The doctor will determine how much fill you need by your answers, or by floro. Just be honest with him on your answers and you will be fine.
  14. I have watched those shows too, but never in a million years would I take on that much at one time. Just all the hours under scares me!
  15. I've always been able to gulp water/liquids. Make sure you are eating the bandster way with protein, then veggies, then carbs if you have room. If you are following that and not losing after a few more weeks, then I would consider a fill.
  16. Good luck, please tell us more about it!
  17. My doctor didn't add any to mine.
  18. No Beanie I just went walking, got my exercise in for two days in a row!:heh:
  19. :update: I got my walk in!
  20. :welcomeB: I think each person is different. It depends a lot on how much weight you have to lose, your age, your skin, so there is no one answer to that question.
  21. Welcome back! Congrats on the new you! Now, post some of those great pictures you had taken! We wanna see! :)
  22. Wow, I leave for a little bit and everyone comes here!:clap2: :welcomeB: Kari - Why did it take you so long to get here? Beanie - I just know they are going to approve you this time. I have it all crossed for ya!:gluck: I loved the pictures you posted! Now that nephew looks like he is having some fun! I am not sure when I will hear about the job, but she told me (yesterday's interview) she hoped to make a decision by Friday. She said she would let me know either way. Keep your fingers crossed for me too! Eileen - Good luck on the review! :gluck: I haven't had to do those for many years, but if I get this new job I will have them back again. :cry Anne - I would go crazy if I had to spend 24 hours a day with DH! I don't know how you do it! Weekends are plenty to spend that long with him! :caked: I'm with you on the celebrities and wls. Who gives a hoot! I don't tell anyone about my surgery, they have the right to do the same. I just think it's great that they can lose. :clap2: I am not jumping today, I just got my hip feeling better, so no jumping off the soap box, but I'll jump up in down in small jumps!:Banane56: :lovechoc: Patty - What a nice compliment from the kids! :biggrin1: Now, if I would go back to sleep now, I would be up all night!:notagree Cindy - I wish I could remember what my Mom used to use for that, but it took it away pretty fast. She mixed up some old remedy and we washed our eyes with it. HMMMMMMMMMMM I'll keep trying to remember. Well, I went out to go for a walk and it was still chilly so I went to the post office to mail my thank you letters. There was a girl there in a tank top and shorts!:omg: I am in jeans and a sweat shirt! So, I guess it is time for me to attack the cool and go. I'm like Beanie, I don't like this cold chit!:heh:
  23. I love them all! So many cute ones, I don't know which one to use first!:clap2:
  24. Good Morning! Cindy - What a pleasure to see you here first thing in the morning! No, pink eye is a term used back up north where I was from. I had it once back when I was young in school. Hope you feel better soon, it is not fun to have!:cry Sherry - Sorry about DH Grandmother. You are right, not a good way to start the new year. Gosh there are so many neat smilies that I don't know which one to use first!:omg: :hungry: :hungry: :hungry: Got so busy I haven't ate anything yet! My belly is growling now! I want to try to walk again today so I best get moving around before I fall asleep, I woke up at 3:00 a.m. and now I am very sleepy!
