  1. I also went with Dr. Aceves....he and his staff are the best. He is very professional and reliable. Ask her to contact Nina, she's the patient coordinator and she'll gladly give you all the necessary information. If you need any other information please feel free to ask. Goodluck and wish you the best.
  2. cool, that's great - i am sure you will be able to accomplish your goal,...you just need some toning and that's it. you'll be ready in a few months. the hard thing is maintaining your exercise regimen during the holidays....
  3. thankyou for the tip, i'll make sure to try it. what do you eat it with?
  4. perfect!! we just need to be patient with those stalls. congrats and keep up the good work.....you look great in your sexy red dress!!!
  5. i firmly believe that it is called food addiction, when you wake up in the middle of the night without any reason, open the fridge and eat the first thing you see. we have schedules and we should limit our eating to those, morning midday afternoon evening. if we eat for no reason and without being hungry, that's when i think it has become an addiction.
  6. well, normally after a month you shouldn't be feeling pain and you should be losing weight.....weight a few more weeks and if you are still the same then you should do something else about it. wish you the best and goodluck!!!
  7. Thanks for the recipe!!! sounds great, i will be sure to try it out.
  8. mmm, Dr. Aceves didn't give you any indications?
  9. cool!!! you are totally going to love your sleeve, have you already chosen a doctor??
  10. i suggest you take into consideration Dr. Aceves in Mexicali, Mexico. Much cheaper than doctors in the US....and maybe there won't be a need for a loan.
  11. i know it's hard, but we all have cheated one way or the other, don't be so hard on yourself, tomorrow will be a new day, a new opportunity to get on track again.....if you can have a half hour more of exercise, makes you feel less guilty. goodluck!!!
  12. i think that what has worked for me are my indications that I got from Dr. Aceves. plus i have actually become an exercise addict....as soon as i started seeing results, i liked it more and more....so now i dont miss a day at the gym, and if for one reason i don't have time, then i take a walk or run around my neighborhood.
  13. thankyou for taking the time and sharing your recipe, i will for sure try it out!!!
  14. i also think that what you need to do is exercise....start walking, or some cardio exercises, you could take some zumba classes, they are great for burning calories.
  15. how are you doing with exercise, maybe you need to work more on your cardio exercises....plus you need to relax, because if you are stressed, this will impede getting to your goal.
  16. nope not really....you should ask your dr. congrats on your sleeve and welcome to your new journey to weight loss.
  17. i too think you should have a talk with your kids, and just be sincere with them and share your point of view....tell them how you feel and i am sure they will understand.....your coworkers don't need to know, unless you have one close coworker and you feel you can trust him or her, then go ahead....whichever way, i wish you the best of luck....and happy thanksgiving, you do need to be grateful for your surgery and your new journey to weight loss....
  18. thanks so much for the advice, i will definitely try the recipes.. what brand of plain yogurt do you recommend?
