  1. :crying: Me too I finally loved having some boobies, and now they are gone again. :001_tt1:
  2. I eat a fair bit of pasta and rice, just be careful with portion sizes, as it can get a bit uncomfortable if you overdo it!
  3. I couldn't eat 1/2 a hamburger. I am 6 months out. It leaves me feeling stodgy, so I choose something else. Like a salad, I would never ever have thought that a salad would satisfy me, but surprisingly it does! I'd rather the salad over the burger anyday.
  4. Love the ideas of the tattoos! I have been considering one to symbolise the weightloss. I was thinking more along the gemini scales symbol, I'm scorpio though so I wonder if thats silly! I have 2 existing tattoos, and can't decide where this one will go! Re the lose skin I am lucky I have lost 84lbs and I have *some* lose skin on my arms, but I figure I can live with that!
  5. The smell of "good" food backfired on me too many times. I ate it, but then I was sick, or felt sluggish for hours afterwards. So I just don't bother now. I have a hard time with any type of bread so I don't do subway for that exact reason, but I do love the smell of it!
  6. I took my laptop, so being able to surf the net kept me entertained.
  7. I was just like you described. The thought of food made me feel sick. The more I tried to eat or drink the worse I felt. I was vomitting blood. I was admitted to hospital with dehydration. I had an appointment with a physc because I thought I was going mental. Before I was discharged from hospital I had a stern talking to myself. I was just getting sicker and sicker because I wasn't eating what I should. My father hired me a nurse to have at home and she forced me to have shakes and go for walks, she saved me! I am doing well now and can eat most things but for the first few months I was wondering if I had done the right thing. It was so tough, but thankfully now things are going really well. I hope that you are feeling good soon.
  8. Oh good its not just me then!! I have a daquiri the other day, was giggly after a few sips and sober 10 minutes later! I was never a big drinker anyway, so I don't really miss it.
  9. I'd rather lose hair than no weight. I am 5 months out, a few weeks ago my hair started to thin, and it has stopped now. Its not even noticable.
  10. This is just becoming an issue for me, I am just over 5 months out and I am getting hungry now, like a pp said, not the shaking I've gotta eat now, but I do get hungry. I have been eating a lot of stuff I probably shouldnt but I do eat a lot better than I ever did before. I am just sabotaging myslef, and I really need to get that in check.
  11. I was sleeved in April and I have just started to lose my hair in handfulls.
  12. Nope my gallbladder is long gone!
  13. I have been getting fairly bad reflux latley I am on 20mg of somac daily but I am interested to read McM say she has back pain. I have a sore back in my right shoulder blade. Can these be related??
  14. I am at this stage now, I am not sure if I want to lose much more, but I am really at a loss to stop losing. I am doing no exercise and constantly losing. I don't want to look unwell which I am starting to :confused1:
  15. Don't stress guys I am in Australia, so very unlikely you'll have the same surgeon!
  16. Yep I think alot of us have had that. Not sure of the cause, but even now 5 months out I rarely do a normal movement. Its all in a hurry!!
  17. Good job on getting home early. The first few days are pretty tough. Just remember to keep sipping water at least. I was lucky too, I didn't have the shoulder tip pain either!! Woo Hoo!!
