  1. Officially finished all my testing today. The ABG blood test was not that bad. I am a baby when it comes to needles and while it did hurt, it's nothing to worry about. My surgery is Oct 9th!!!
  2. Does anyone have a picture of what a normal portion size is and what a sleever eats? I'm wondering how much smaller are our meals versus an actual portion size.
  3. That stinks . So I better get out my shot glasses so I can take small amounts at a time. Ugh
  4. Has anyone tried blending this with ice to make more of a slushie?
  5. I got my surgery moved to the 9th! Much better for my kids schedule, so excited that I'm officially less than 2 weeks away.
  6. That is wonderful, glad to hear you're doing well. Keep us posted.
  7. Glad to hear it went well!
  8. I would love to be 2 months post op already.
  9. I just don't want my junk hanging out. Lol
  10. So funny the stupid things we did to lose weight. Lol
  11. What was the worst diet you ever tried? For me it would be using Ali and doing the Herbal life diet.
  12. There is Always going to be an excuse not to do it. I have 4 children all in travel sports and could use them as one every time. If you feel that the surgery is going to change your life for the better, then take the leap. But it sounds like you want people to say wait. So if there really is all that conflict and you know your insurance is going to cover it come the new year, then by all means wait. But what if you really do want the surgery and wait for all the other little things to work out and your insurance changes and you will no longer have the surgery covered? That to me would be worse case scenario.
  13. Have you called your insurance to verify what they need for approval? Or have you spoken with the surgeons office and asked what's required?
  14. My office submitted on Thursday and I was approved by Monday morning. All they needed was the Psyc eval to approve. Good luck!
  15. That is inspiring. Thanks for coming back to share your story!
  16. I'm so happy you found someone else. When you're ready, you're ready. Waiting was just be awful.
