  1. There are a lot of threads about Fitbit but I haven't seen anything about the Up. Does anyone have it?
  2. I think it was just my body adapting bc I don't feel like that anymore. Goodness was that a testament of my mind over stomach. I won!
  3. I would have to agree with Lipstick Lady. Having such a small stomach doesn't allow for you to eat as you once did. I'm only 2 weeks out so the addiction is still there but the sleeve is doing its job. Yes you do have to have will power, but it's so much easier to resist temptation. I have gone out to lunch and dinner at some of my favorite places and watched as other ate bread sticks and appetizers and it was hard. But I have made it through with no regrets. In fact when I am done eating and feel full I still get that guilty feeling. Then I take a few minutes and remember I didn't eat anything bad for me. It's a good feeling.
  4. Today I feel like I did pre sleeve. I am starving and while I have controlled my hunger I feel I could eat everything in site. Is this normal?
  5. Could be but I'm not having issues drinking just feel so dry.
  6. Does anyone know specifically for the newly sleeved patients if it's any different?
  7. Hi. I am 12 days post op constantly thirsty with a horrible dry mouth. I have water with me all day but never is my thirst quenched. How can I tell if I'm dehydrated?

  10. I had a drain and it was pulled before I left to go home. No biggie but very uncomfortable when the final tubing came out.
  11. I am hoping he does the same for me tomorrow. Good luck!
  12. Sorry for the TMI.. I am 6 days post op and since night 2 I have had Water stools. Like I am peeing out my butt. (Sorry gross). Any advice?
  13. Have a feeling I'm dealing with gas pain but can't tell the difference between the two. How can I tell the difference?
  14. Thank you! I am so worried I will have to go back into the hospital. Let's just say this has been the worst 4 days of my life.
  15. Is this normal? Doc paperwork says 101.5 should be concerning
  16. Prayers and hugs! My surgery is at noon and I don't have to be there till 10:45. More time at home and less time at the hospital. You can do it!!
  17. Yes I'm getting sleeved at noon. I had a super fast approval. BCBSIL is great.
  18. Thanks everyone! I don't think there will be time for them to come see me. Also I don't even think my husband will be there when I wake up, which is fine. As long as I can get my phone when they transfer me to my room I'm all good. Lol
