I'm not. I still feel bloated, but I also haven't gone número dos. It's been 8 days!!! I'm taking some MOM. I'll probably lose 5 lbs :)

back2barb78 That's one of the questions I was going to ask him if I could take something. When I meant lighter I should said the way my clothes that were too tight on certain areas are loose. But I need to do eliminate soon as well we had our surgery on the same day so it's about time.

You haven't either? I emailed my nutritionist this morning and she said if i needed it i could take the MOM but that I really need to increase my fluids because I told her I'm really not hungry and having a hard time drinking my fluids. She told me try harder! Damn tough love!! I held out all day to see if it would happen and it hasn't so I'm just drinking it now. I figured it would take a while but it's been 8 days!!

I was going to ask tomorrow. But knew since we aren't able to eat much we wouldn't have a lot in us.

How did your MD appointment go?

Wow that is so wonderful! I'm jealous I've lost 5 and had to do 2 doses of MOM before success! After my "success" today, I'll weigh again tomorrow :) Congrats! You get to eat something!

Hi! I'm thinking y'all had your surgery the same day or close to as me. I had surgery Oct 10! When did y'all? I'm new in here and not sure how it all works. Forgive me if I did this wrong!

I eat eggs, tuna, oatmeal, today I had a salad grind up really good only 1/2 cup tolerated well. I still do my shakes and skim milk and plenty of Water. Somebody else recommended hash and to make a crustless quiche which I may do tomorrow. I still look around and explore for new soft foods so I won't get tired eating the same thing.

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
Just for fun last week, I ran two 5Ks in two days, something I would have never done in the past! Next goal is a 10K before the end of this month.

Hi everyone, I wrote back in May about having no strength. I still get totally exhausted just walking from room to room, it’s so bad I’m using a walker with wheels of all things. I had the gastric sleeve Jan. 24th. I’m doing exactly what the programs says, except protein shakes. I have different meats and protein bars daily, including vitamins daily. I do drink my fluids as well.  I go in for IV hydration 4 days a week and feel ok just til evening.  So far as of Jan 1st I’ve dropped 76 lbs. I just want to enjoy the weight lose. Any suggestions or has anyone else gone thru this??  Doctor says just increase calorie intake, still the same.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️
