  1. Annie, I used to live in Bremerton. I HATED EVERY LAST SINGLE SECOND OF IT!!! I really did. Hubby was stationed there and I am a depressed kinda person anyways, so I really was glad to get to come home to Idaho when the time came. I was only there for 8 months, and I still can't stand to think of the rain and dreary dreary clouds....all the time!!! No rain vibes coming your way to Annie.....NO RAIN!~~
  2. roller blading used to hurt my feet to until I got a GOOD pair of skates. They make all the difference in the world. I gues maybe it is the same with everything, a little better quality goes a long ways. Mine were around a hundred dollars. We started out with cheapies, and hated every minute of it!! I can't wait to get these puppies shined up with new wheels and going on down the path!!! Wednesday 18th a.m. 1 hour strength training on bowflex p.m. 9.72 mile bike ride
  3. HP, I am sending no rain vibes your way so that you can ride tonight!!!!! You can do it!!! You will do it!!!!
  4. That is funny!! I think anytime you go for being up high to a lower vehicle it takes some time to get used to the difference. I got my roller blades out of the BACK of the closet, dusted them off, tried them on, and am now ready to adventure out into the world of another wheel sport. I used to blade 2-4 hours a 5 days a week. I was about the size I am now, probably a bit smaller, but was never watching what I ate then, but I did get some really nice leg muscles back then.
  5. BG, LOL, I wasn't saying the wreck was awesome!!! LOL! You are such a hoot!!!No wonder the ladies you work with are so jealous of you, you are getting skinny, sexier and are freakin hilarious to boot!!! Annie, I can understand the self esteem issue. I just wonder if it will EVER be good again, you know what I mean? After being fat for so long, I just wonder how long it will take for the mind to catch up that we are NOT the fat one anymore and can accomplish anything!! I sure hope that it doesn't take long!! You are so amazing, I look at your weight loss and KNOW that I can do it too!!!! JC, seriously, that is the best thing that you could of said today!!! I am sooooooo proud of you!!!! You could tell you wanted it by the way you talked about it so much! You wanted it, you went out and worked on it, and now you did it!!! What an accomplishment!!!!! What a way to rock it!!! YOU are awesome!! Juli, Once again you are so totally right!! Never should we apologize to each other for an accomplishment that we have. We all here are the support group for each other and we NEED to be able to come here and scream I DID IT!!! Not a whole lot of other people will understand the intensity and meaning of what something like that does for us!!! I love it that you found this group of women that keeps you going and motivated and enjoying yourself, Juli. That must be awesome to all be loving the same sport and working out together!!! Your average speed is great too!!! I can't wait!!
  6. I went and watch our bicycle club in town do some time trial tonight....WAY FREAKIN AWESOME SHIT!!!!! They were going soooo fast and someone wrecked and it was awesome...there were only two women though. And it was a small small group of people, but it was great to see it anyways!!
  7. ok, first thing is first. YOU WILL BE ABLE TO EAT AGAIN!!!! I think that so many people freak at the thought of not being able to eat again, that they just shove in food just to do it!! You will eat again, and it will all be good. Mark my word!!! Be true on your pre op diet, that is important. Do it for yourself!! It will give you a great feeling of accomplishment that you did it!!!
  8. I have to add this. Not that it was bad before, but sex has improved. I have more stamina which makes for a lot MORE fun things!!
  9. Sorry 'bout all that gushy stuff!!!!!LOL...
  10. Oh boy girls, do I ever hear you about the other threads. You guys are awesome here and I get 100% of my support from the exercise threads!!!! There are very few on LBT that get the exercise portion of weight loss. That or they just don't want to do it!!! I don't think anyone does AT FIRST!!! But, then you all know what happens....the bug bites you and you can't stop!! You guys are great and I truly feel like I know you although I know nothing about you other than you LOVE what I love!!!Somehow makes up kindred spirits I guess!!! Don't stop coming here annie!! We need you as much as you need us!! Your weight loss is so amazing that I would think that the other thread you spoke of would be begging for pointers from you!!!!
  11. Tuesday the 17th, a.m. 11.60 miles biking
  12. OMG, are you serious JC???? You are totally cool!!!! Wouldn't that be somethin? See JC rollin in just in time for the ride to start!!! LOL... J, super tiny......I JUST LOVED THAT. I was grinning from ear to ear....I can't wait for that to happen!!!! Ok, 2x it is then!!!
  13. All I can say to this thread and most of the posts here is "WOW"!!! I am just amazed!!
  14. Wouldn't it be nice to be rich instead of so good lookin'???? Honestly, I would rather choose the ride, but Vegas is only an 8 hour drive for me...so Vegas it is!!
  15. That is good news!!! I was actually thinking about that machine and wondering how it was going!!! Do you think it has made a huge difference or do you think it is the exercise all together that is making the difference???
  16. You all are WAY too funny!!! I knew BG was a rough kinda gal!! HP, you WILL NOT make a fool out of yourself. Making a fool out of yourself would be putting ALL of this hard work into riding and then NOT going on the ride!!!! YOU rock!!!!! I wonder where Annie is???? Has anyone seen or heard from her???? SHe hasn't posted for awhile!!!! JC, I personally think you should RIDE YOUR BIKE there. Or you could jog!!!!! LMAO....you ARE on fire!!!! J, I was going to ask you how tall you were, I am going to order some bike shorts online and I was wondering what size I should get. I am 5'7", so I was thinking a 2x, although some of my 2x pants are starting to get to big....wow...imagine that...I have been in a 2x for most of my adult life...what will it be like to be smaller than that????? GREAT!!
  17. Don't get discouraged!!!!! Keep exercising!!! Your body is probably going into "what the he$$ is going on" mode, from all the exercise. You will be fine and soon start dropping the pounds!!
  18. LMFAO BG!!!! I love it!!! I knew I liked you for a reason....hell, a redneck just like me.... "anything to get a t-shirt" I LOVE IT!!! JC, you really are TOO much.....I love how you take everything and make it a reality....look at you....running that far....I love it...you are great. I want to run, but think at this weight I would really hurt myself...or someone else!!!!!! LOL...
  19. Thanks jm....I know better than to keep exercising if hurt, just don't want to lose my motivation. I did my strength training yesterday anyways...boy howdy!!!! Ice packed my shoulder the whole day then rode my bike last night...hurt a bit but not too bad and this morning its all better!!!!!! Of course no weights today so I will see if it flares up after riding today and I def. won't be doing weights again with that arm if it does flare up again. Thanks for the advice.....You rock on that elliptical!!
  20. Monday the 16th a.m. Strength training 1 hour p.m. Bike riding 1 hour
  21. LOL...so is the Trek a hybrid too? Congrats on the new bike!!!!! I just LOVE looking at new bikes....it that the one that you got on EBay???
  22. I am down almost 60 pounds and can STILL wear some of the things that I was wearing before banding. They might not look pretty and they are hanging or baggy, but I can still get them on and wear them. Specially if they are elastic waisted. It is amazing that plus sized clothes fit for such a drastic weight loss OR GAIN!! But I guess they make them that way so big stomach people can wear them as well as big butt people.
  23. ONE POUND LOSING!!!! Great, and youuuuuuuuuu betcha, one pound gone is better than one pound on you a$$!!!!!! LOL..good job!!! I too am hoping to see some kind of movement on the scale this Thursday!!!! I did a one pounder last week too!!!
  24. Great job Chris!!!! 4 pounds is awesome!!!!!! Way to GO!!!
  25. I WANNA GO DAMNIT:mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::violin::violin::violin::violin::censored::censored::censored: DOES ANYONE FEEL FOR ME?????? LOL....
