  1. Yeah I get what you mean. I have a feeling I may not need a fill. I still need to ask if he put anything in, which I assume he did but I will see what happens!!

    Swimning

Yeah I have glue, and I see my Doc in about a week so by then I should be cleared. Only difference with me is I had an issue after surgery so he wanted me to hold off on physical activity until he clears me again. I'm excited for you though! I want to get into my pool before summer is over! lol!!!

    Swimning

Same here! Swimming and dancing are 2 things I LOVE to do! I had surgery July 22nd and my Doc wants me to hold off. I'm excited for both of us when the time comes that we can swim again!
  4. Congratulations! Let us know how you are feeling in the morning!
  5. Yeah, I understand. I was just asking because I've not felt hungry but every 4 hours and everything is going don fine as long as I take small bites etc. I've yet to ask if he put anything in my band during surgery, which would make sense as to why I'm feeling the "restriction" (lack of a better word) I'm hoping to hear more come August 12th. Thanks so much for your opinion!
  6. Just a curious question. Have my first fill August 12th so I can ask questions there, but thought I would see how many fills it took people to get to their green zone. I know everyone is different, but I feel like I have seen on the forum somewhere that someone had got to their goal with no fill. All the input you all can give would be great. Thanks.

    The pre-op diet

Every Doctor is different. Mine was very strict that I have nothing but liquids for 2 weeks before surgery, then on the other side my friend who has also got the surgery 2 months before me was only required to do 7 day diet before surgery that was under 1000 calories and the day before surgery was liquid. She has been doing wonderful! I hope everything works out for you! I'm excited and looking forward to hear from you after surgery!
  9. So I have lost 36 pounds (pre-op diet included) so far and today I went to get my shoes on. Usually with sandals that you have to fasten, I would struggle to put on because my big stomach would get in my way... well today... I did it! There was still some discomfort because I'm no where near my goal, but man did it feel nice to be able to have more breathing room to fasten and buckle the sandals without losing my breath! I don't ever want to be where I was again! It can only get better from here on out! Can't wait for the changes ahead. Just wanted to share with ya'll. May be simple but it surely was exciting for me!

Pain when in between my shoulders

I'm a little over a week past surgery and am just now getting over the gas pain! I SWORE that they dropped me during surgery because the gas pain hurt in my back so bad, Gas-X strips saved me! I hope you start feeling better soon!

    Dehydrated... Maybe

Just to give everyone an update. The Doctor called me back and asked pretty much all the same questions.. What color is the urine? Have you tried Gatorade etc. So he wants me to go and get some Gatorade and trying drinking some of that. He is going to check on me in the morning and if I'm still feeling like I am now then he wants me to come in, he did say dehydration in general is bad of course but after surgery an with the band is very serious. I already went to the store, crossing my fingers this helps! He also said I could start drinking bigger sips, not so small. I was just scared is all. Thanks everyone, you all helped very much!
