Im on day 4 and my stage 2 says 2oz yougurt w pureed fruit. I used mango baby food. It's confusing how all drs have such different programs. Im down 20lbs on day 4. I know that will stop soon. My stage 2 i get cream of wheat, yougurt and some milk.

I was banded to on 9/13/13. drink little sips it will be good. day 3 I had some yogurt this morning and it went down fine. Take time to heal. Walking has helped!.

I just put the vanilla in my cream of wheat. It tasted pretty good. I'm having a hard time getting that protein in so it worked as long as I could mix it with food.

My insurance does not pay. It's written in the policy they will not cover bariatric surgery. I am paying cash but My Dr. requires $3500 down and I can pay $100 per month interest free. I think its well worth it. If you pick up a new insurance you will probably have to go through a year waiting period to have record of not losing weight on your own. It's a game with them. Scope was good. It was a day of sleeping on Saturday. I feel much better today. Found a protein shake at GNC that I can get down with no problem so happy about that. Now I just wait until all my test come back and they schedule me. I hope to schedule on August 30th. I'm a cash payer since my insurance does not cover so I'm sure I can schedule myself by then.

so, how was your first couple of days at work? I go in for my endoscope tomorrow morning @ 7.

hi areli, i'm going to have my surgery at the end of aug. by dr. lyass. just had the sleep test done, next is the endo. how did you like him & the staff?

I'm thinking about having this done and I am very questionable about the cost. Did you have insurance pay or did you pay the cash pay price? If you paid the cash pay have you seen any other bills that you are responsible for above and beyond the cost of they quoted you. Thanks!
