Wow...I agree that there are great role models here (especially for a not yet banded, still learning, still worrying person....like me!)....I'm adding you to my small list of people who are inspiring me from this forum and helping me already and im not yet even banded!

Sadly enough that person is just mean and he will be mean to someone else for some other reason throughout HIS pathetic life. Good job to your friend for saying something to him. People like that get away with it all too often!

I know for me when someone does something mean I try to go out of my way to do something NICE for someone else. It only takes one good deed to make someone else smile. Eventually all those nice acts will overtake those RUDE beings we must deal with.

Congratulations that is wonderful...I'm going thru pre-op testing now and hoping for a sept. surgery date. I also have 2 small kids and its great to hear that you are able to have a normal dinner time with the family...one of my concerns....among so many others!
