  3. Hiya March Bandsters! I was banded 3-21-13...and am now eating regular food. I find that I can eat pretty much anything- just have to make sure I chew it all up- REALLY WELL! I hae gotten "stuck" a couple times from eating too fast! NOT FUN! I currently have no saline in my band and am scheduled for my first fill on 5-3-13. I really struggled with being stuck at same weight for 2 weeks- but I am doing 1-2 Protein shakes a day to get going again! Lost almost 3 lbs last week! I know I gained this weekend because we were out of town for my middle son's DeMolay competition and obviously ate crappy food- but I did watch my portions! Small victories & silver linings! I did do some side by side pics...of face this time! I think Im starting to see a difference! Sent from my iPhone using LapBandTalk
  4. Congrats!!! Looking great!!! Sent from my iPhone using LapBandTalk
  5. My loss stopped in mushy phase too- boy my body change didnt! Your body will continue to morph even though the scale isnt moving! This first pic is night before surgery..1 wk post op and then 3 weeks! No change from 1 week to 3 weeks (and really til today @4 weeks) on the scale- but big change in body! Keep on going and dont get discouraged!!! You are doing the right thing!!! Sent from my iPhone using LapBandTalk
  6. I cannot lay on my stomach yet either! (Banded 3-21-13.) It is uncomfy- but, I dont sleep on stomach, so doesnt bother me. I have had issues with turning as well..just have to go slow! (2 csections have trained me for this part. Lol) i also prop a pillow under my side that im laying on to alleviate some of the pressure. Hope it gets more comfy for you! P.S.- maybe its time for Hubbs to turn around and cuddle you. :-D . Lol Sent from my iPhone using LapBandTalk

  19. Maybe she is less upset about you being banded, but maybe is upset because you kept it from her? I hope she comes around. :-( Sent from my iPhone using LapBandTalk

  23. The glue will come off on its own. It should last 10 days or so. You dont want to peel it off yourself- that is what is holding your incision together right? Sent from my iPhone using LapBandTalk
  24. Had my first appointment today! Im down a total of 12 lbs according to their computer. Its 10 lb according to my scale because I weighed myself on surgery day at the Y ...but they did not weigh me before surgery. I had been worried that I was doing something wrong because I wasnt losing as much as some that Ive read about! She said generally they see 6lbs lost at 2 wks post op appointment (the one I had today) and 12 lbs at 6 week appointment (1st fill). So- Im not doing too bad afterall! Am slightly excited! I also bought my first pair of pants from "the regular side" of the store today! They ALMOSTTT fit! Sent from my iPhone using LapBandTalk
  25. Congrats!!! I had the gas pains for 6 days!!! Hopefully this is NOT the case for you! Just keep moving and sipping! Sent from my iPhone using LapBandTalk
