  1. I too have osteo in my knee and other parts of my body. I have not been on any medication for a year now. I think the more you lose is when the pain hurts less. I still hurt but not to the point of having to take meds everyday. Keep on losing and feeling better.
  2. That is awesome. Congratulations to you.
  3. Amazing. Congratulations!
  4. Oh my gosh! Without a fill? That's amazing. Congratulations.
  5. Lol this is a funny thread. Sorry I have never had these experiences.
  6. Awesome!! Keep up the good work. It is truly a great feeling.
  7. I use Whey Protein or slim fast (greater value version for less). Whey protein has 60grs of protein but greater value has 10 or 12 I can't remember exactly. They come in different flavors and you can mix them with water, milk, or juice. At least not the slim fast unless you purchase the powder rather than ready made.
  8. Awesome!! Congratulations u look marvelous.
  9. I have gone through that a couple of times myself. Good luck with trying to maintain your current weight. It was very difficult for me but I did it and so can you.
  10. I never heard of this type of surgery either. Awesome results.
  11. Oh my goodness!!!! I am so sorry to hear that. If they want to refer to a place that is better equipped to do the procedure then I think you should do it. Just make sure that they can though. Good luck with whatever you decide.
  12. I'm like Guymontag. I don't count calories either but I don't do carbs either. My eating habits change every single day so some days I may eat 1200 calories or a little more but most other days I eat less than 1000 calories. Yesterday I was so craving a Burger and fries so this was my lunch but I didn't have breakfast. My dinner was a couple bowls of pinto beans and Vienna sausages and a cheese stick. Today, I'm not that hungry but had a bowl of pinto beans for breakfast and I'm sipping on a smoothie.
  13. No, it is not a good idea. I always fast before and after my fills. Do drink some water and tea or coffee which ever is your preference.
  14. I'm 42 and 80 pounds down and I do not need plastic surgery. It would be nice to have just because but its not necessary. I did workout throughout my journey mostly water.
  15. Yeah!!!!!!!!!!
  16. I notice the change within three to four days after my fill.
  17. Yes, my pouch has been stretched a couple of times but I didn't know it until we did a fluro to make sure everything was well and it wasn't. I had been stuck a couple times when it was stretched. My PA took a cc of fluid out and I was put on liquids for a week, then mushies, and then solids. I was so scared I think I did liquids for two weeks and mushies for the next two until I had my appointment. I was back to normal.
  18. Hi there. Where are you now with your journey? Have you hit the 100 pounds lost yet?
  19. I second that emotion. I sometimes do the same thing too. Like right now I want to go in the kitchen and eat and I have been contemplating having something for the past hour, but it's too late and I refuse to do it to myself. You are not alone. We just have to stay strong and say I'm not hungry. Good luck.
  20. You can and you will. I think many of us have gone through that. I still sometimes get off but it's about learning how to get back on is the key to our success. Just do it. Good luck.
  21. Not taking medication anymore and going to the doctor every other month. Not spending a lot of money on food when eating out.
  22. Thanks for asking as I didn't know either. LOL
