Hypnosis
Wow! I think that is cool. I'm gonna have to check my specialist list and see if they are covered. Sounds like fun. I've always wanted to be hypnotized just for fun but who knows, it may in fact be a great experience. LOL Good luck.

Hello from a Lurker...
How exciting. I'm glad you made the decision to make you healthier. Believe me, it will be worth it in the end. I have osteo and I'm happy to say that I haven't taken any medication for it in right about a year now. Do I still hurt? Heck yes but not the endless amounts of pain I had when I was a lot bigger. I just take the pain and keep going. I do however keep a bottle of Equate Arthritis Pain Relief in my purse the equivalent of Tylenol. I have had that bottle for like two years and probably need to throw it away because well I don't use them any more. It is so amazing. I am so happy for you and welcome to the board. Thanks for coming out of the closet lol hahahaha .

December Bandsters how are you guys doing?
I'm quite sure many of you may not even be active any more but those of you who are, would you give us an update on your status for the newbies. For example, have you met your goal? Are you having any problems etc.?

Good for you. If Kphoping did then I know you can too. Do whatever it takes to get them to approve it. Your health depends upon it. Good luck.

I Wish to Understand that Which I Do Not
Well said Ms. Comedian lol. I do believe a lot of people hurt because they were never really taught how to love. We are our own enemies but at the same time, many individuals have people in their lives that are very critical, self-righteous, demanding and all those negative things. Some of the posts I have read are quite hurtful. That's why I try to always encourage because I still need positive reinforcement from time to time.

Looking for a Houston, texas group
Rachel was my advocate and Dr. Hollis is my doctor. You were banded by another doc Makes since. I was under the impression you were banded in Houston. Dr. Hollis was very adamant about me losing pre-surgery so that I could get filled after band placement.

If I'm understanding this correctly, you stated that you didn't get filled during surgery? I'm just curious because I did. I believe they gave me 1 or 2cc.

Do you guys like the new changes at TR Houston?
Hey all. I have been a patient of TR for 2 1/2 years. I personally love how they have finally separated their new patients for surgery to go in on one side and well us post surgery folks go in on the other side. What are your thoughts on that or anything else regarding TR?

the port
Hi Sprinkle. You will be able to do all those wonderful fun things you love to do in time. Just be patient with your body. Everybody's body is different so healing time takes longer for some than others. Sorry, but I can't give you a definite timeframe. Your doctor will be able to give you the okay for all of that. Good luck.

the port
Yes ma'am. I feel my port everyday and see it as well. Sometimes it gets a little tender and then it goes away. I told my doctor and he said not to worry because it was connected to my muscle so depending on how I move, sleep, turn, etc. I may have slight discomfort but for the most part, my port and the area it is located in are fine. I really wouldn't worry. Good luck.

I was afraid this would happen...

Looking for a Houston, texas group
Hey there lady. I just replied to ask you how you were doing in another forum so just disregard it as I now know. Anyway being a patient at True Results for 2 and half years, you are not going to feel that restriction just yet. It took several fills before I did. When I say several I mean at least a couple more after this one you just received. Fish, lettuce and tomato salad, grilled, baked, or boiled chicken are the favorites they like to see when you fill out your form. Cottage cheese is good if you like with strawberry or other flavorings. I buy them at the 99 cents only stores and actually noticed Walmart carries them too. You definitely can't go wrong with your fruits and veggies particularly greens or cabbage if you like those and broccoli. If you like beef meat, limit it to once a week. I eat more ground meat than steak or roast which I love. It is easier to swallow. Try not to eat too many carbs as I did. They always fussed me for that to the point they flat out told me no more carbs. I listened and it worked but this week I have been slowly introducing some carbs back in my diet. Meaning I have eaten a table spoon and a half of rice with a spoonful of gravy with my meat in which I eat my meat first. I also had a spoonful of corn. I also had a piece of cornbread that my mom cooked as well. It was so good. I had forgotten what it tasted like because I had eaten it in so long. I have learned that once I give myself my carb of pleasure, I don't want it anymore. Today I have only eaten oatmeal for breakfast and two pieces of chicken for lunch. Yes two but nothing else. I will have my veggies for dinner later. Sometimes I can eat them all at one meal and other times I have to break them up in different meals. Today is one of those days. As time goes by, you will learn your bodies behaviors. It's weird.
