  1. Your doctor and or nutritionist should have provided you with that information but 60 to 80 is the norm. Good luck.
  2. Hi there. I have a 10cc band also and I am at 6.7cc. I am in the green zone finally meaning I stay satiated for 3 to 4 hours without being hungry. I was snacking in between meals but not anymore.
  3. Sometimes, that's all it takes. Glad to know it worked. Continued success.
  4. Too funny. Tell your son to take you shopping. Congrats on the weight loss.
  5. Hi there. Not everyone gets stuck on the foods you mentioned above; however, some people do and some don't. That being said, I do believe it happens after being filled and we forget to chew our food until it is mushy. This has happened to me a few times. It is not a great feeling. I can eat all the foods you have mentioned with no trouble if I chew, chew, chew. Good luck to not getting stuck.
  6. Hi there PghGal. You have already been given wonderful advice from the previous posters. I will only add welcome back to getting back on track and please do keep us posted on your continued success. 186 down is fantastic. You can do it again. Just start now.
  7. I too am curious as well. If you don't mind sharing, what was the need for the second band especially since you have lost 60 pounds in three months. That is awesome. It took me well over a year to lose that amount of weight.
  8. Great, now keep going.
  9. Awesome!!! Keep up the good work.
  10. Oh wow!!! Don't you feel exceptionally wonderful???? Congrats to you.
  11. I'm with you on that lellow. I was 220 when I got married and well I got rid of that thing a few years ago. But congratulations to you goalseeker.
  12. Gotta share this one from church this past Sunday. This lady whom I like told me if I lose anymore weight I was going to fly away lol. Isn't that hilarious??? Omg too funny!!
  13. That is funny. I hope it gets better for you. Lol
  14. I totally understand. I can't wear any of my rings either. They arrange in sizes from a 5 1/2 to a 7 because that was the different sizes of my fingers. Well they are all now a 4 to 4 1/2. I haven't tried to get them sized yet. It is a great feeling though. I actually just want new rings. LOL
  15. Thanks. I have been trying to figure out what PBing is also but was afraid to ask. LOL
  16. Oh Wow! That is wonderful. I'm glad to hear that. Congratulations and take care.

I'm not a big lover of exercise either. We have a treadmill in the house and I rarely get on it. But I do every now and again. I have osteo so I could only do water aerobics but since I have lost 80 pounds, I decided to try and ride the bicycle. Something I used to do a lot before gaining all that weight. To my surprise I can actually ride. Wow! What a feeling. I ride just about everyday. I guess what I'm trying to say is, maybe the elliptical is not for you. Try and figure out what other exercise you like and just do it. I'm an educator too so I understand what you mean regarding the stress of trying to get things up and running so that is why it is important to find something to help eleviate the stress. Good luck and just make up your mind and do it.
  18. Hi Tigers1998. Your story sounds very similar to my own. I am so glad that you are recovering well from your first surgery ever. I have had too many to count and I hope that this Lapband is my last surgery ever. hahaha Anyway, congratulations to a new you. I can't wait to hear about your "firsts". It is going to be so exciting.
  19. Ditto what everyone else have said. If you feel like you can drink more, then keep on sipping. Good luck.
  20. Hi there. You said you had to have surgery. What type of surgery if you don't mind sharing and why isn't your band in the correct position?
  21. I know exactly how you feel. Doesn't it feel good to know that you can fit a smaller size even though we are still thinking larger? Congrats to you.
  22. Hynita, just wondering how are things going for you with the sleeve?

  24. That's great to know. If you just keep watching your portion sizes, all will be fine. Good luck and remember to chew, chew, chew (small bites).
  25. Hi Hope2, just wondering how are you feeling this week with the small defill?
