fill

I got my second fill last monday, everything was great; 3days later I started to feel tight! In the morning, I knew would be a little challenge ; during the day is also hard, very hard to drink took 4 hours to drink a protein shake, and I not able to eat

Anyone know if this is the new normal?

Is it possible you need to take smaller sips? Some people can't "gulp" liquids anymore.

Learning to eat with the band can be extremely challenging. A lot of doctors recommend bites the size of your fingernail. Perhaps you need smaller bites?

Had that happen to me in April, did a really big fill,1.6 cc, didn't feel any water restriction while doing the fill. The next day I couldn't eat anything without throwing it back up. Had .8 taken back out and did fine till about 2 weeks ago. Just had .6 put back in today and I finally feel full again.

Sometimes, that's all it takes. Glad to know it worked. Continued success.

Am hoping this extra 2cc will slow down my hunger. Since my surgery I have been on this site and honestly it's helped so much to know I'm not alone. Lots of great information. The main point I do understand and received from here is that it's up to me to work the band. I gotta do the work and make the good decisions everyday. The band won't do that for me. There is no easy street. ???Š One day at a time.
