  1. We are doing pencils, temp tattoos and stickers. One of my sleeved friends got like 400 2inch mega bounce bouncy balls at party city for $5- she has sworn off candy. I always loved when people made little goody bags w/ a variety of candy & toys. allons-y

  6. Bells palsy really sucks! I hope your getting the care you need to recover some innervation & or having therapy to cope. I'm sure it makes it harder to get work now. Hang in there. Don't give up. Choose to believe there is good in this world and then strive to be the change you most desire. I personally look at pictures of those less fortunate that me who are still happy w/ less than I have. I remind myself that I have a lot more than many others & they'd kill to be me. While my personal expectations for myself may not have been reached , there's the realization that I have accomplished quite a great deal compared to_________________. allons-y
  7. I was permitted my bcp & high bp pills right after my swallow/leak test. I was told to bring my own medications. They did however issue me a different inhaler than the one I brought. allons-y
  8. I prefer turkey bacon too. It gets leathery & I loove it. allons-y
  9. Yes! I have it too. I asked my surgeon bc it was hurting my incisions. He said it was normal & that I was gonna feel a whole range of sensations as I worked through food. allons-y
  10. I can put away 2oz of pumpkin pie filling only w/ whipped cream. It was awesome & my bday "cake" bc I was on pureed then. Enjoy but measure bc the pie is sooo yummy it'll sneak up on you. allons-y

  12. Do it!!! No you're not too you. You are just right. Young enough the skin will hopefully shrink, not too big yet, healthy enough you'll bounce back quick. I was 28 when I had mine- but only bc of insurance & $. I regret spending so many years being fat. I lost all my friends over time bc i was so big I was no fun. allons-y
  13. Do they self adheisive? Do u tape them on? allons-y
  14. Once u hit puree you can take the mac n cheese flavor packet & incorporate i to something else that you can eat- like cream of wheat or mashed thinned potatoes? We frequenly buy mac n cheese & throw out the Pasta. We use the flavor pack in chicken dishes, seasoning for veggies & more. Experiment you'd be suprised how the flavor is what u craved. allons-y
  15. Luckily they listened & used dermabond on me which is itchy but not too bad. It did lift off in 2 places & my dr put a real bandaid & yelled at me for my ghetto paper tape & cotton wipe home made bandaid. I got a rash still & that was on day 10 post op. Back to homemade bandaids for me. Oddly, electrical tape doesnt make me break out so I've been using that too. allons-y

  23. They do recommend trimming the loose edges so they don't snag on your clothes. I had sx on 10-3. I still have glue on 3/5 incisions 1 pulled loose within the first 10 days. The other just yesterday. I have been putting the walmart closure strips on them to try & pull the edges closer together. But, it didnt seem to work. So, I used some medical tape over a bandaid so that the skin isnt pulling apart so much. allons-y
  24. I just bought a Jello no bake dessert pumpkin like thing & I wonder if its not a take off on these. allons-y
