Stepped on the scale today and saw the 150 pounds I had set for goal Was sleeved just under 8 months ago on 10/25/12. I'm 5'4" and HW was 230+ and 80 pounds later at 150. Went from 18/20 jeans/xl tops to 8-10 jeans and medium tops. As much of a physical change that you can see there was 10 times the mental and emotional change. I'm no longer afraid to be seen in public, I can put on an outfit without changing 15 times then deciding to not go anyways, I will go places alone and not have to have a pack of people with me to hide behind, and I can find clothes that fit at a regular store, I can be around cute fit skinny people and hold my head high and not feel like crawling under a rock, and I'm out being active and having FUN!!! So thankful for this amazing surgery and for getting my life back.

I wanted to post some pics before and after, so happy with the weight loss, goal is to lose 50 more, but after having 5 boys I am happy where I am....., so im gona relax and enjoy!

I am now finally seeing the scale move down again.....after a short stall. Down 82 lbs since surgery on January 21, 92 lbs intotal. The sleeve gives me the restriction I need.

Surgery on Jan.5th and I'm down 119 as of this morning. I have roughly another 70 pounds to goal.

I have lost 82 pounds in a little over 8 months. I think I have generally had an easy time and lost consistently! My goal is to lose 100 pounds. In the beginning I didn't think that was attainable but now I can see it happening.

Its a great feeling isn't it? My mom was in the car waiting for me and I passed the car to return the cart to the cart corral. When I returned to the car, she said, I thought I saw someone walking by with your purse. It was me! She didn't recognize me. I have lost 171 pounds and dropped 8 sizes thus far. I will be one year out on May 17. About 35 - 40 more to go. I am so happy I did this. Congrats on your success!

Well...I haven't yet mustered up the courage to go into a Victoria Secrets, but I did buy myself some cute new lil panties! Wow! What a great feeling! And the other panty victory....before my surgery in November after I dried off from my shower, I would always have to hold onto the bathroom counter as I stuck one leg and then the other leg into the legs of my panties. For the past three days I have been able to put on my panties without holding onto anything! I can't believe how much easier I can MOVE and how much better I can BALANCE. Hope this motivates people who are thinking about this surgery or who have just started. Tiny things like I have described are life changing and liberating!!!

I was sleeved Jan 24,beginning weight 264 i'm now 204,i was wearing a size 22 and now i can fit in a 12.there is really no slow or fast everyone is different.. but you are doing great...
