  1. I don't have rheumatoid arthritis but I do have osteoarthritis and I can tell you I have felt better and i have not even had to be on meds consistently. A near total change. I have not had one flare up with my knees since surgey. Only had to take my Celebrex once. In months! With the weight loss you should feel way better.

  9. Before I had surgery I spent time waiting on people's approval, especially the ones that are close to me. Some of them never even called me after surgery to see if I even made it through. With that said I don't get concern any more about what people think. I'm Happy with my decision and that's all that matter. The further you get out the more you will realize that you had to make an Executive Decision for your own Health and it all about a better you.
  10. Congrats and good luck.

  13. I'm sorry to hear that your are going through this. I would call my Nut and Surgeon. ASAP. I am 12 weeks out too. And there is some foods that I don't tolerate. I get nauseated off some off certain foods. But to you follow up with professional help that is what they are there for to guide us to better health. We are here to support you. Good luck
  14. The best revenge is to let her watch you loose the weight and keep it off. So what people know now many will support you and give you attention to you that she brought on. She has further alienated her self by betraying your trust. It's good to find out how she really is now. Later don't give her any more information about your Journey. That s revenge enough.
  15. Im 3months out the best thing that's giving me energy and I'm feeling stronger is going to the gym. I do Aqua fit And a little weight and recumbent bike. You need Rest Protein Vitamins Water especially . But the walking You are doing is great. Just rest when your body tell you to. I just started exercising And wish I'd started sooner. Chair exercise might help build up your endurance. But Rest some Walk some. Even now im tired if i miss my protein shakes. Each day will get better. Best of luck!

  21. First, Happy Birthday. You made a wonderful choice that will give you more birthdays to celebrate. I just celebrated mine too. And even though I was a cake connoisseur for real, I didn't even eat cake on my birthday, and I'm 11 weeks out. I didn't crave it. I did miss it but instead I had the energy with loosing 40 plus pounds to focus on other things. For me I couldn't eat cake in moderation so this one I skipped the cake. Bit that's just me. Wishing you many more.
  22. 1. Gas x 2. Gas x 3. Walking shoes ( you don't need a new pair)
  23. It was easy. Mine started with a questioner that centers around questions of any current stress and depression. Then it was a general conversation trying to figure out are you competent to handle making such a major decision, can you cope with this life changing decision. Mine ask family support questions. How ready I am for surgery. General questions. Food related questions. But yes they do ask about your childhood But for me it wasn't a lot of questions. We covered a lot in about 30min. But no it did not focus on the childhood. I took my hubby who waited for me. Again it was very easy.
