  1. I didn't do a pre op diet and my follow up was 2 weeks after surgery and I was down 18 lbs from surgery day.....
  2. I like Fage non fat plain..65 cals and 11.5 g protein for 1/2 cup!
  3. Wish I had some words of wisdom...sorry, but I feel your pain. When you can eat mushies, it will give your diet more variety...hang in there hun!!
  4. I have a husband and 4 children so I just cook what they usually eat, for them.....Me I'm still on mushies and when I graduate to "regular" food I will adjust my food and cook different for myself if I can't eat what they are eating. So far it hasn't been a problem.....they are all very helpful and supportive.

  6. My husband doesn't have a weight issue and he is behind me 100%...I still cook him and the kids their food and I have mine...I have 4 children (5 if you count hubby!), so there is some less than healthy food in the house and I'm not going to change that, I need to change me!

  11. I like the Muscle Milk Light..100 cals and 15 g of protein and the Fage non fat yogurt..65 cals and 11.5 g of protein for 1/2 cup...I recommend my own homemade soup..lol...wish I could share

I too questioned my decision the first few days after surgery...I think it's perfectly normal....it's still only been 9 days for me but I feel so much better physically than I did when I was thinking "why did I do this to myself" and I am glad I went through with it..I hope you begin to feel the same way too ...Best wishes to you..

  20. I feel your pain! I'm 9 days post op and still on full liquids as per my doctors recommendations...you can do it! Hang in there!
