  1. I am 3 mos post op
  2. I'm just puttin this out there, any feed back or experiences would be greatly appreciated. I did Hcg drops in my old dieting days and did pretty well... Until I quit and went back to my old way... So just wondering, would it be so bad to try it again if one were stuck in a slow stall? After all our diets are about the same... It's just a horomone that takes energy from our stored fat as opposed to other... Hmmm what do you guys think?
  3. But 500 cald a day is pretty close to where we are at in the beginning.... So wouldn't it act like more of a helper lol... A tool? Or no?
  4. Wanna get rid of these suckers as they seem salvageable... Any suggestions on ones that I could do fairly consistently?
  5. So as opposed to drinking my protein drink first, then maybe a boiled egg after.. I should switch to Greek yogurt before and protein from after? Will this help?

  9. Oops missing something for me to be stuck like this.... Any suggestions welcomed Please!!!
  10. And by that I mean I have been going between 169-170 for the last month. Sw was 202, I'm 5'7, cw is 169-170.... I uped my excersize routine and feel good about it but would sure like to see it moving again... Can anyone tell me a typical day of food (easier the better). I would really appreciate it to avoid this disappointment creeping back in that a remember at about this time in my old dieting days. I drink a premier protein in the morning with vitamins, might have a boiled egg around 1030 after workout,, usually different spiced tuna or salmon with salad for lunch... A sensible dinner without carbs... I do snack on peanuts here and there... And I get all my water in with a coffee once a day.... I might switch something up by addin a cheese stick with deli mt, or scramble eggs. I make taco salad (love) with their low sodium spice an extra lean ground beef.... I am proud of myself and feel fret for what has come so far but I feel like I'm missing something
  11. Ok so this is from a beginner cook lol... What do you serve it with? And you serve it hot?
  12. So I'm just gonna throw this out there. HCG... Injections or pills... What did people think of them? I did the pills for 21 days and felt great... Preop... Just wondering if anyone would or has tried these post op? Say if you were in a funk or long stall? After all we are eating about the same menu and portions anyway. Would a horomone that helps use fat for energy as opposed to muscle etc be so bad?? Any input appreciated as I ponder throwing it in after a long stall lol... After all people get pregnant after vsg and they turn out just fine? Thanks
  13. Can I ask you about the Hcg? Is this something you would consider again if you found you were stuck? I mean seeings you were pretty successful before? After all isint it a horomone that tells your body to use fat as opposed to muscle? Just curious as we are eating basically the same diet anyway... Would it help in a funk?
  14. Yes I was surprised when my doc told me no pop.... not because I couldn't stomach it, but because it could stretch your stomach...even in a normal person.... I thought how could this be? Every diet I was ever on okay'd diet pop!! So no more pop for me or my kids.... The odd sip is ok but I don't buy it anymore;)
  15. Glad to hear you guys are doing well! Steve I had my surgery in Mexico by choice based on experience... No one does the plication up here yet. I have nothing bad to say about my experience in Mexico... Everyone was great, all went well, the hospital was clean, everyone was professional.... My only concern was IF something were to happen (complications) I would be so far away from home. And that scared me. Luckily all went well, no complications:) keep in touch guys!
  16. My big day was dec3 and I have to say I feel great! Low bmi, sw 202 PDs, 5'7, down to 169. I am losing more inches than pounds right now but am keeping in mind that this is not a race, its a lifestyle change. My clothes fit better, I am excersizing more and my back love handles are gone lol. I still measure my food ( most times visually) at no more than one cup. My mind says I want more but I can't usually finish the whole cup. I could eat crap food like its going out of style so I really make an effort to choose the right foods, but I certainly have a treat here and there. Just have to watch what it is and try to stay away from trigger slider foods like chips lol. Anyway just wondering how everyone else is doing? Hope you all are celebrating your wins! I recognize that without this tool I would have given up already and started my usual 3 month quit and regain;)
  17. I was plicated dec 3 and love it. I chose to have it done because I had a family member who had a very bad experience with the sleeve so for me it was the right choice. I can't tell you what my full experience will be 20 years from now, but at this point I am happy and grateful for having this done. Good luck with your choice!
