  1. Good luck to you! Keep us updated!
  2. I know the struggle:( unfortunately over the years I've had (what I thought were forever) friendships go down the drain. If I had this done years ago and had confided in them, the support may have been there then but I can guarantee it would be gossip now. So as hard as it was not to share, now I am so glad I didn't tell anyone. People who love me support my healthy decisions towards a new lifestyle are there for me... Eating habits and exercise included. Those that don't care or may not be there in the future don't know the difference. I am not under scrutiny of anyone, not defending the stigma that goes with wls. I'm just living my life. You may have different people in your life but that was my unfortunate experience. I have met some wonderful people on here tho;).
  3. I completely agree with above! I didn't tell anyone but my husband so I felt Like I was in this unknown hell and had no one to talk too or support me. I kept it secret so I had to hide my tears from those im closest to. So I am totally here for you too. Trust me when I say that I promise in a couple more weeks your hormones and body will balance out and all this emotional turmoil will be a distant memory replaced by excitement and positivity;)
  4. Oops have different post op diets. After day four I could begin to add full liquids which included cream soups, shakes, yogurt, sf puddings, broth, sf Popsicles and of course sf jello. None of these hurt me at all I just couldn't eat much at a time. Love mush sp... So don't feel bad about your cheats... I think your diet is a tad strict . Not that I'm saying anything Negative about it, just don't be hard on Yourself! You guys are doing great!
  5. I honestly feel for you. It's weird how drs
  6. If it helps... The main thing that made me Not cheat that first month was the fear of doing any physical damage to myself inside... Cause Mexico is far away and no one here knows anything about plication lol. Maybe that will help motivate? Just a suggestion on how I made it through hell month;)
  7. Me too.. It lasted three weeks last time... It's been two weeks this time, we ll see what the scale says Monday...
  8. I'm at 165 now but the last two months it seems like I stay at a current weight then drop some on the fourth week. Stupid plateaus oh well at least I'm not gaining lol
  9. Wow everyone is doing fantastic! It's nice to search out similar heights because that usually means we have similar goal weights. I'd say anywhere btwn 147-165? Is that safe to say? Good luck with all of your journeys! Any tips or tricks to break those stalls or anything else to share please do. These posts made my day;)
  10. My dr wouldn't do both so I chose just the plication. Mostly because of the maintenance o the band and I live two hrs away from the closest fill dr. I've had great success so far. Sw 199 dec/12 cw 165 and I'm 5'7. Shoot away if you have any questions. Good luck with your choice;)
  11. That's right! Sounds like you are doing great. Two cups of healthy good is not so bad;) do you work Out and count calories at all?
  12. Would love to hear the different journeys of people's success! doesn't matter when you were sleeved. It's reassuring to me to see how everyone is different at this height. Hw 208, prop 203, day of sw dec 3/12 199, cw 165 and 35 inches lost. Shares yours please!
  13. Me too my crush as always been Clint Eastwood lol and I'm 34... It's the eyes I think lmao
  14. And sf Jello and pudding too? What about Greek yogurt are you aloud those?
  15. I have to say as tough as liquids were I was grateful for the stage after the fact. It cleaned me out of sugars an carbs. They headache were tough but then the cravings were gone! Keep up the good work girls!
  16. I am here for you any time you need;) so is it done then? How are you feeling?
  17. I never had a two week diet. I was on full liquids for two days which included protein shakes, jello, pudding ( even slim fast shakes), then only clear the night before. I hope it works out for you. I bet if you have something showing the funding is guaranteed but not till wed I bet hell go ahead... Keep in touch! Let us know!
  18. For me after four weeks I could have anything I could tolerate. I was a carb junkie so I tried to stay away from most of the above. But I had roasted tomato Soup, and the next time the salmon with rice. There's nothing I've tried that I can't tolerate. Don't know if that's good or bad lol
