  1. Yay! So glad to hear! Keep us updated!
  2. Dr Ariel Ortiz? Why I'd the stitch pop?
  3. So people talk about rest days and all that. But this video is for 30 days in a row. Is it ok to do it? People exercise everyday right? I hear you are supposed to switch up routines so you can give certain muscles a rest but this is set up so you do the same video 10 days in a row. Is this ok?
  4. You'll do great! I'm 8 PDs away from goal! That'll be you soon!
  5. I'm curious too! Has your surgeon done many of these? What happened? I hope you are ok!
  6. I wanna know too. So I sit down and do how many reps? How heavy of weights?
  7. Great job! You look beautiful in both pics;)
  8. I agree... I'm sure I've spent way more on diet fads, pills, etc so over the long run I am saving myself money!
  9. I def lost more weight in the beginning. Lost more inches than weight in the middle. Then as you get more active I find that I am still loosing more inches than weight on the scale because I am toning and muscle weighs more than fat. Some days I would get frustrated but in the beginning my skin was saggy and loose and now it's way better. So it's important to not just go by the numbers on the scale!
  10. Yes keep me posted! I am excited for you. It was all so quick. If you would have asked me a year ago where I would be now and what I did to get here, I would have laughed lol. It's all so crazy and exciting!
  11. My surgery date was dec 3/12. I lost 20 pds that first month then 20 more over the next five. That sounds slow however I started excersizing around mo 3 and hit many stalls but lost inches. I have lost 40 inches, so I feel great. I try not to get down on what the scale says because I know I am toning ... i am happy with how my skin is keeping up...
  12. I was 203 and now am at 158... A bit of a slow loser but I have working out more and am Loosing more inches so I'm happy;)
  13. Yes I hope I can get to the point where I can say thank you without my face going beat red lol.. "Uncomfortable" lol
  14. Well I joined a cardio class two times a week and I try to do 1/2 hr at my house once a week. Now that its summer I try to do something with the kids once a week too... Like go for a bike ride or swimming. I am not hard core by any means but I am finally to a point where I look forward to doing these things as opposed to dreading them! How are you guys doing?
  15. I do not like the attention at all. I feel uncomfortable and am not sure what to say to people when they are giving a nice compliment. I don't want to feel like that so I'm wondering if anyone had some input on how to receive these kind of things differently?? Awkward:/
  16. I just had to chime in and say I am now in the 150's! I haven't been here in over 15 years and I feel great! 11 pds away from my drs goal.. I can't believe it. I've had the odd struggle and a set back here and there, but this is definitely possible. So If you have a bad day, dust yourself off, get back up and keep going!
  17. Later tonight I will post my progress for you. It's nice to see a low bmi progress because I hit many stalls and thought, this is it! But it's not!
  18. I have three small children too. I struggled with being overweight too. I also had a bmi of 32. I am six months out and down 50 pounds from my heaviest, 42 PDD from surgery day. Best decision ever for me. It's a scary decision, weigh the pros and cons and the rest was in gods hands;) good luck with what you choose!
  19. That's fantastic! So are you at goal then? How is it a year out? Besides being able to eat more... Everything ok?
  20. That's great for you Jeff! Good job! I am a fellow Canadian too!
  21. Good for you! I want to see!
  22. Are you still loosing? Just curious, it does seen to slow down a lot lol...
