Fitbit One

Does anyone use the Fitbit One? Do you like it and do you find it to be accurate? Is it worth $100? Also if anyone knows, how does it compare to others like Nike Fuelband?

I love mine. I do think it is pretty accurate. I like that you can sync it with My Fitness Pal. I looked at a lot of these types of monitors before buying the Fitbit, the Fitbit is the only one I found at the time that syncs via Bluetooth. The Nike Fuelband has to be connected to your PC to sync. The Fitbit also monitors your sleep, which I don't think any of the others do. It is great for increasing your incidental activity--at the end of the day I can see if I need to do more stairs or go for a walk to increase my steps for the day.

In April the Fitbit Flex is supposed to come out, which is similar to the Fuelband. I am getting one of those and giving my One to my husband.

I also have the Fitbit Aria scale, kind of pricy but I really like it. I really don't work for them, I just like these two products. I swear! LOL.

I had not heard of the Fitbit Flex... I might wait for that one to come out. Going to look it up now :)

The flex only syncs with an iPhone 4S or 5... I have a 4... Might be a drawback.

I have a 4 as well...there is a tiny wireless bluetooth dongle that fits in a USB slot so I can sync it on my PC. I just don't have to take it off to do it. (I wear it in my bra.) Also it syncs on my iPad. Someday I'll get a newer iPhone, but not yet.

Oh ok, that's not to bad... Thanks.

I love my fitbit, have had it for over a year now and it still motivates me to move!

I'm waiting for the fitbit flex that's coming out in April.

Where do we get one?

Best Buy has them

I am completely addicted to my fitbit - I have the fitbit zip and love it.... I may also upgrade to the flex and give the zip to my husband (mainly to get him moving now too) :-)!!! I have become so addicted to making sure I get over 10k steps that I actually get in 15k now - so I'm going to up my goals!! Love it!!

I just invested in the Fitbit One. I was going to wait for the Fitbit Flex to come out next month until I read that it doesn't count stairs. I bought my Fitbit One from HSN. They had the best deal... comes with an armband to keep your Fitbit in while you sleep. HSN also had free shipping and four month flex pay. The Fitbit itself, is teenie tiny. You can clip it to your waste band or for ladies, inside your bra and no one will notice that you are wearing it. The Fitbit Flex would be obvious because you would be wearing it on your wrist. This product really encourages you to add more steps & stairs to your day!

I also have the Aria scale, which is awesome. It tracks your weight automatically to their Fitbit web site, which is free. You can also track your food & Water intake and set your daily calories. Fitbit will keep track for you and let you know how many calories you have left for the day. The Aria scale paired with the Fitbit, work great together to encourage and keep you on track. I got my first 15 pound weight loss badge which I copied and put use as wallpaper on my Iphone :)

It's really nice to have extra encouragement!
