  1. Suck a cute puppy. I'll like it :-)
  2. Congratulation CG. You are rockin' this!
  3. From what I have read it is normal to have "restriction" for the first fews days and then have it go away. I believe it is from the initial swelling from the fill going down. But, like I said, this is just what I've read on this forum.
  4. Congratulations!!
  5. I, for one, think that losing weight will only help my marriage. I know the sex will get better...cause I'll feel better about myself. I also know that my self esteem will improve and I won't feel so akward meeting my husband's work friends or just any new people in general. And I also know that losing weight will open up a world of things I would never do now that my husband has showed interest in us doing together, like hiking, bike riding, scuba diving, etc. No marriage fails simply because of wls. They fail because something else was wrong to begin with.
  6. Congratulations Dee!
  7. I just had my 4th month check in with my doctor...only two more to go. It goes way faster than you think it will and I'm glad for the extra time to help figure everything out. I think the 6 months is giving me a better start to doing this the right way. Best of luck to you and don't let the 6 months discourage you.
  8. I always think of a cup as 8 oz. So if you are eatting a 3 oz piece of meat, the additional 5 oz would be the veggies. Of course I haven't been banded yet, but this is just how I read the dietary instructions.
  9. I'm a little over half way done with my 6 months and the time is really flying by. I'm sure your's will as well. Best of luck to you!
  10. So happy for you CG! You are rocking this!!
  11. Sounds like you may have to do a supervised diet. Just call your insurance company and ask. For my insurance my previous ww attempts and a monitored 6 month attempt to lose weight with prescription diet pills did not suffice. I am currently having to do the six month supervised diet with my PCP.
  12. No, the worst is when people use absolutely no punctuation!
  13. I say go for it. The first few months is gonna be all you anyways...until you reach the "green" zone.
  14. I just had my 3rd appointment of my 6 month diet as well. My last appointment is April 16th :-)
  15. Awesome! Congrats on all your success!!
  16. Great minds think alike! My husband and I are looking into buying a machine for the home as well. What are you looking at getting?
  17. You can try a heating pad as well.
  18. Hi Lauren. My name is nnicole209 on MFP, I'll add ya.
  19. I've never used them, but Hungry Girl uses them in a lot of her pasta recipes. I think the website is www.hungrygirl.com
  20. I'd put my job first. 90 days will fly by. I'd rather be in good standing with my boss.
