Hello everyone! I just found this app today & am so glad that I did. My sugery date is Dec 27th which is 2 days from now. So 2m is my day of all Clear Liquids. I've been really excited for months, but I find myself a lil nervous- "crunch time"; which I suppose is normal. LoL. I'm so happy to now be connected with people who are on the "Bandwagon" & understand.

I finally found something that helps me with my nausea. I know I only tried it one time ( last night) but for the first time since surgery ( 10 days ago ) I had relief.
I had nothing to eat or basically drink lol after 7 pm.

I felt the same way. I was embarrassed to walk into the surgery center. Until I got home and that's when the reality set in.
I had to do something. I stopped myself before I gained another 100 lbs.
Be proud of yourself. We are all here together.

I'm having my band placed Wednesday December 26. Been a bit cranky I think it's my nerves. Only a few people know I'm having it done. Not to proud that I failed myself. But looking forward to shedding this extra person I've been carrying for the past 12 years.

I feel the same thing! I'm only 5 days post op and I'm finally looking at doing some house chores today. When I wake up in the morning I feel like the band is in my throat. I called the doctor yesterday to ask them if it was ok to have this feeling of tightness in my chest after I drink something. They had informed me that this was normal that I was still swollen and to take smaller sips. I realized then this is what everyone is talking about when your band is talking to you.

I made it to the other side!!!! Surgery was a breeze.

T minus 5 hours and counting!!

I'm feeling awesome today. Which is shocking compaired to the last 6 days. Still going to take it slow and let my body heal. How are my fellow december bandster felling today ??
