HEY FROM Kraggie Hope TN
Am I missing something here? PSusan is making reference to Photonut? I know Photonut's name is Susan but what does it have to do with Psusan? I have been on this board long enough to know, every now and then we get a member that joins that makes a post that makes no sense but a few of them realized they were on the wrong kind of support board. We once had a memeber here who thought this was a singles site. Maybe this is the same for PSusan? I do not see any other posts from PSusan so maybe this member realized he or she was in the wrong place.

Therapist pushing me toward RNY
DO not let her cast any doubt in your mind. Of course she will want you to have th RNY because she did I started at 265 and 18 months later with my band I was 164, it is possible do not let any Dr. or anyone else tell you otherwise. I will say this, the band is not a magic wand, you will have to do some of the work and not rely on the band to do it all. You do have to have your "head" right. I got my head right for the first time in my life with my band. If you want this band enough you can get your "head" right.

When does the fill stay with you
Carol, how big are your fills? I ask because it has bee nsaid that many of the U.S. doctors like to creep up on restriction and only give .25 to .50 of a cc for each fill, where as Mx doctors like you to achieve restriction as soon as possible. Everyone is different. You may find out that as little as .2ccs can make a huge difference. I know for me sometimes my fills took 1-2 weeks to kick in. Other times I would get greater restriction months later after getting a fill. Hang in there it can be a bit frustrating but it will happen.

Ability to report bad posts
Wheetsin is correct, you will not see it if you are the poster but I can see your icon Dody and if I thought your post was bad I could report it.

Question about Moderators
First let me say I am friends with both Lisa and Penni. We all had our surgeries at the same time and eroded at the same time. I have met both of them personally. They have offered me support and love all the way through my journey. What concerns me here though is this This "consider the source" thing is b.s. Photonut let me ask you a question if it were me or any other member here who you did not have "personal issues" with who posted this instead of Lisa, would you still be saying "consider the source" would it still be ok for a moderator to do the things she is being accused of? Do you think Lisa is lying? One thing I know about Lisa is she speaks the truth and some of us may not like it but she does not lie, she says it like it is. Regardless of who is saying all of this if there is any truth to any of it it should be treated the same way if it were any other member here who brokew the rules. If Lisa was banned for her actions in all of this why is Penni not banned? She broke the rules as well as Lisa. I feel either they both are banned or they should both be able to stay, whats fair is fair. Both Lisa and Penni offer so much to this board. Lisa and her spunk and dynamic personality and crazy posts that make us all laugh our ***** off and Penni with her caring supportive ways who is always there to help and offer support. I agree 100% with this statement.

Just banded, feeling very bloated
Walk Walk Walk! It is the best medicine for moving all of the gas around to relieve it and help to get it out. What you are feeling is totally normal. We all have been there, good luck and hang in there Congrats!

R there foods that you eat & the next day you gained
I have to agree with the rest of you, also caloric intake is also important, it may be a small amount of something but if it is loaded with calories like chips could be another reason for the weight gain.

Question about Moderators
None of us know here for sure either way if this member has or has not gone to the owner of the board or to one of the moderators. Do we? But I can tell you this from my own personal experience when I was having problems with a member with threats and nasty PM's here on this board a year or two back I went to the moderators and they did absolutely nothing, the member was still allowed to be a member here was still allowed to harrass me and send me meand and threatening PM's the same thing could be happening here, maybe the owner or moderators are aware of this and are chosing to do nothing. Possible? Fitter who ever you are maybe you should tell us all who it is, then this person/moderator will have to come here and answer to the charges to all of us. Diva, would you thank a moderator every day if they were using their moderator status to play games here and did all the things Fitter mentioned in the first post? I certainly would'nt. If this is true and the other mods are aware of it and are chosing to sit back and not handle it, then that is a shame. This could hurt the board if us memebers feel their is a moderator using her status as a mod to do the things she is said to be doing. We put our trust and faith in these moderators. JMO

Question about Moderators
After reading the above post, it sounds to me "fitter" knows something we do not know. I hope "fitter" takes the appropriate action and notifies the moderators and Alex the owner of this board and lets them all be aware of any information she has . To me in my opinion, a moderator should be held at a little higher standards then the rest of us. If a moderator is playing the games as the above post inclines, he or she should be banned. JMO This in particular disturds me very much if indeed it is true, we as members need to know we can trust the moderators and go to them with any isssue and not worry that are concerns and problems are shared with other members of this board. Fitter if you have proof of any of the above mentioned, I hope you notifiy the moderators and the appropraite action is taken against any moderator who is breaking the rules. LBT for many of us is our safe haven, we come here for support and to give support not for games. I speak for myself when I say I come here for support and to offer support band or no band and I do not like the fact that there may be a moderator on this board who is playing these games and doing these things.

Question about Moderators
Since we are asking questions about moderators, I have always wondered do moderators have the ability to read other members PM's?

powerful vomitting four days post-band
Call your Dr. tel him again of this. I know you just had surgery and I do not mean to scare you but you need to take every precaution. A woman had hersurgerythe same day as I did, her band slipped before sheeven left the hospital, hersymptomswere exactly yours. It is possible for a band to slip this soon post op. It is worth checking into, not to mention all the vomiting before your band has had a chance to set into place could also make your band slip. Symptoms of a slipped band is not being able to even sip water without vomiting, of course there are other symptoms andsome have had a slip woth experiencing no symptoms, but still not worth the risk. I know if it were my Dr. he would be concerned of a slip. Call your Dr. again..Good Luck

Whippledaddy Has Passed Away
I too am very saddened by this news. Ryan was an incredible man. He had nothing but kindness and love towards all. He deeply loved and treasured his wife Patty. His posts here were always such a delight to read. He had a way with wotrds like no other I have ever known. He will be missed. To you Patty, you are in my thoughts, I am so sorry for your loss. Ryan was a great man.
