  1. I never realized it until you said this but that's me too!!
  2. Thanks SueBee. After reading more posts and changing the way I ate my dinner last night I think I'm just taking too big of bites and still eating too fast. I always eat too fast so this has been a big adjustment for me. I'm learning everyday.
  3. This is awesome advice. Thanks for posting this. I am in the same boat. I think I'm finally at the sweet spot but I'm not taking small enough bites and eating too fast. I will do this!
  4. Yes, I do. I am close to my sweet spot I think but things get stuck a lot so I'm wondering if I'm too tight. Still trying to figure that out so somethings I do have to throw up.
  5. Thanks for posting this. Great information!
  6. This is a great question. How much food do you eat when you are in the right spot? That's what I'm wondering. I have 7cc on a 14cc band. I still feel like I can eat too much and unfortunately I still do that sometimes.
  7. Twinges is a great way to describe what I'm feeling. I had my first fill of 5cc two weeks ago. For the first week or so I felt like I needed another fill cause I could eat too much without feeling full. Now in the last few days I am getting full way faster and have had that twinging pain for a few days. I was worried that something had gone wrong. Could it be that I'm just too full?? Thankfully I'm going tomorrow for a check.
  8. I actually gained a few pounds when I went to mushies so I wouldn't worry about it. After about a week or so I started losing again. Hang in there!
  9. My doc says the same thing. I have still been doing them for breakfast. It's a good on the go thing for me.
  10. Whether or not she is right or you are right - it just wasn't a nice way to respond.
  11. That's what I thought too so it surprised me. Thanks!
  12. My doc has told me no protein shakes as I am now starting solids. He says they are empty calories.
  13. I don't know what this is. I will have to look into it.
  14. Why should you not snack? I've been wondering this. My doc says just 3 meals, that's it.
  15. I have a 14cc. I am also trying tomorrow to have "regular" food. Good luck to you!!!
  16. I like the Atkin's ones. Either vanilla or chocolate!
  17. I find it so interesting how different everyone is.
  18. I got my first fill today too but have not had those feelings. Interesting. I got 5 cc.
  19. I take 5000 too. They are lozenges so I can suck on them. Got them at Whole Foods. Solaray I think is the brand.
  20. How much iron should we/is everyone taking?
  21. I'm so glad you posted this because the same has happened to me. I have gained 3 pounds and I am only eating yogurt, soup, and protein shakes. I only do about 1200 calories a day. I'm huge! How can I gain weight???
  22. I had my surgery on a Thursday and was back on Tuesday. Probably should have waited a full week but I managed - just a desk job.
  23. I had a hard time too so don't feel bad. I felt like I was beat up and had no energy. I finally felt like myself a week later. But was okay about 5 days after. Just take it easy and don't feel bad about how you feel.
  24. I drink the chocolate flavored whey protein powder from Whole Foods. The 365 brand. I do it with milk and it tastes just like chocolate milk to me. I love it.
