Normal To Gain Weight?

Just started soft foods on Friday, weighed myself today, and had gained 4lbs since Wednesday!!! How is this possible???

Could be water weight! However, from what I was told by my nutritionist is that it is not abnormal to gain a bit when you start real food from liquids. Just make sure you are doing what you were told and you are fine.

Normal, by still watch cals, fat and salt content.

Yep its normal. More than likely it is water weight.

My advise, put the scale away. You are still healing and your weight is going to go up & down. It's the most frustrating thing!

Try not to get frustrated, keep the big picture in mind. Focus on the band rules, exercise and drink your Water. You will do great.

I'm so glad you posted this because the same has happened to me. I have gained 3 pounds and I am only eating yogurt, soup, and protein shakes. I only do about 1200 calories a day. I'm huge! How can I gain weight???
