I'm glad to know that. I too take a capsule (Prevacid), for GERD. I didn't even think of what would be done about the meds I would have to take after. I take a couple of pills too, for cholesterol and such. Do I just crush those up and take them?

Hi Donna, I wanted to go to a seminar, but the lady said they had just had a seminar and that she would make an appointment for me to see the doctor so that's what I did. I looked on our out of state website for participating providers and that doctor was on there. It has been a year and maybe they're not on there anymore, but they forgot to tell us. Hi everyone!! I got my approval for my lap band surgery a week ago and then I got a call today saying that my doctor is an out of network provider-great!! Now I'm waiting for a call from my insurance to see what I have to do about getting the approval switched over to another doctor. This is nerve racking, I thought I was soooo close, but now I don't know. I did find another doctor that's actually closer to my home within my state so hopefully the insurance company will agree with the switch and I can go from there. I have to go to a seminar on April 9, then a consultation with this new doctor on the 11th. I'm trying to shoot for surgery for the end of May, I hope. I've been at this for a year trying to get an approval, and now this. Keep your fingers crossed for me. Jackie
