  1. Yes I started out walking four days a week. Once cleared for light weights I alternated a kinect workout game and walking for the four days. After I got cleared for abs I upped it to 5 days and did a different kinect game. At 4 months or so I upped it to 6 days a week. I am currently doing Insanity.
  2. I like cosmos the sometimes have skinny versions.
  3. I ate that a lot on mushies/soft foods.
  4. Since coffee is a liquid it should be just fine. I still use my favorite coffee mate creamers. I just include the calories in my daily tracker
  5. I am VERY impressed!! Great job!!
  6. Wonderful progress! You must feel great!
  7. Good for you!! Hang on to that pic to remind you of how far you have come.
  8. That was my 6 month pic was 255 in the before pic and 195 in the after. I've lost 10 lbs this month but don't have pics yet. You can do it. I am finally learning to listen to my band and only eat if I am actually hungry. It's been a very successful month because of it.
  9. Thanks I have uped my workout to 6 days of insanity and I have been really trying to listen to my band and not give into head hunger or just eating because it is time. As a result, my net calories were about 500-800 cal per day. I'm pretty shocked by it really. I also got stuck REALLY bad one day and went to liquids for 24hrs.
  10. 185.5!!! 6.8 for the week...crazy. Met my goal and then some!!
  11. I too value your posts. I aspire to get to the point where I don't track my intake. Hopefully for me that will be part of my maintenance phase.
  12. Thanks! That's what I thought I should do but just wanted to check.
  13. As in productive burp...it was less violent than puking and it gets the stuck food back up
  14. Hi all, I'm about 7 months post op. I had my first PB today. So not fun. Especially since I was at costco. I recklessly tried a oodon (not sure of spelling) noodle sample and my band rebelled. After 20 min of walking around trying to let it pass, I decided to go into the bathroom and try to get it up. I spent 15 min bent over the toilet trying to get it to come up when I finally just put my finger down my throat and made it happen. I felt SO SO much better. But it was so gross!! Anyway...should I stick to liquids for dinner? I think I remember reading I need to give my esophagus a rest.
  15. Wow!!! You look fantastic!! Congrats!!

I am the same way. It's so annoying. I try my eat to stay in my calories and keep exercising but I allow myself small amounts of what I am craving. I usually gain the week before stay the same the week of and lose a lot the next week. It's frustrating but as I am noticing the pattern I am accepting it. Just try your best and keep up the activity.
  17. Wow!! You were beautiful before and it is just more apparent now!! Congrats! It's amazing how sometimes we don't see it in our faces till we lose the weight. I had the same revelation.
  18. That's so fabulous!!! Congrats you've earned it!!
  19. I weigh weekly and at most twice a week. The daily fluctuations drive me crazy when I feel like I worked hard and ate good and then I'm up.
  20. I chew two fiber gummies and put fiber powder in my coffee every morning to stay regular.
  21. I eat them when I am hungry. I try not to eat ALL of them though. I'm happy if I end my day under my calorie goal with the added exercise cals.
  22. How awesome!! Congrats!
  23. Down to 192.3...4.2 for the week HORRAY!!!!!
  24. I love this I was banded 9/4/12. I was 260 at my first drs appointment now I weigh 192. I have lost 7 inches in my waist and 35 inches over my whole body. I started in a size 20 pants, I now wear a 14, XXL shirt now L, 40G to a 36DDD. I workout 6 days a week and love it. I can feel more than just flab in my belly. There are muscles and hip bones under there!! My legs are looking lean and defined and my arms are getting those cool definition lines too. I can wrap a towel around me and tuck it in and it stays! I don't get winded going up stairs. I can cross my legs easily and comfortably. My belly doesn't touch the table at restaurants. I can shop in normal departments and stores and sometimes even in the juniors dept. I don't cringe when I look in the mirror anymore (even when I'm naked!) I did cartwheels and handstands (ugly ones) on the grass with my daughter the other day. My workout dedication inspires and surpasses my skinny friends Being banded is the best thing I've ever done!!!
